"All I'm saying is, just because he's our version of Sonic Prime, doesn't mean he should be given things like the title 'Head Officer'" Zally had spoken as she glanced at him then back at everyone else

"Your totally right, this, this kid has had no real experience out there and obviously doesn't do his job properly" Zinfinite stated, but none of them knew what was to come as they kept talking as if he wasn't there, but they fell silent when they heard the younger hedgehog laugh, none of them could explain why they felt chills run down their spines, but as they turned to him, they couldn't stop the rising terror

"You never ask me what I do exactly, all you do is assume" Zonic laughed, his eyes a bright ruby as a gun was held loosely in his hand

"And your welcome in this conversation, but weapons were confiscated upon entering the room" Zally said to him, locking eyes with her he just smiled

"Oh I did give up my gun Zally, this one? This one's a little different and as for the conversation I've never been included because i'm the child of the room, saying I never do my job and such, how would you feel if you were always judged and over worked by the warden?" A crazed look went through the teens red eyes as he looked at them, none of the adult officers in the room could explain what they were feeling "I'm getting really tired of all this, of all of you" 

"And what exactly are you going to do about it?" Zinfinite scoffed as he stood, but felt a shift in the room, as Zonic smirked towards him, dark and twisted and a gun shot rang out, startling everyone, but there was a choked sound coming from the other side of the room, and the jackal turned and saw that Zally had a hand over her chest as she coughed up blood, and Zonic didn't so much as flinch as he smiled at her, the look of terror in his eyes sent a thrill through him, Zinfinite went to grab for the gun that he always kept by his side, but remembered he didn't have it on him, besides it didn't matter as pain shot through his shoulder and he felt the warm liquid running down his arm

there were yells and more gun shots before he was shoved to the ground, blood covered the room as an alarm rang as the hedgehog stood over the older jackal, the twisted smile never left his face as his eyes remained a bright ruby red that shone with insanity

"The reason I got this 'title' was because i was the best of the best, not because of my prime version, not because of anyone else but me" His voice dripped with darkness

"You lying basted" Zinfinite hissed as he felt the other's foot press harder into his chest

'Your just like everyone else" the words cut deeper than the jackal would have thought as he went ridged, but Zonic's expression went blank as he moved the gun towards the jackals head, and fired

blood spattered across the hedgehogs face, as he looked at the officer who he had just killed like the rest of them, he felt nothing but content as there was sudden slams against the door, yet he stood there looking at what he had done and then the door was slammed open and then there was silence

"Zonic sir?" his ear flicked to the sound of the voice yet he didn't turn "W-what happened" that's when he turned to look towards the door, his red eyes startling them as Zector and Zepio had their own weapons drawn, not only their's but Zhadow's too yet Zonic didn't say anything as he watched them, but he started laughing again as the crazed look never left his eyes

"You need to calm down and surrender" Zhadow ordered

"Surrender? Surrender to the traitor? what an absolute joke!" Zonic's smirk was sickening 

"Your not thinking straight" Zespio yelled and Zonic's stare turned to him and tilted his head to the side

"and how would you know?" Zonic asked, his voice sent chills down their spines "How do you know i'm just done with everyone's fucking bullshit? How do you know I'm tired of being pushed around, tried of everything and everyone?' all three of them had no answer to give as the hedgehog before them watched, blood all over him, but not his own

"Look just come with us and we'll talk things out okay?" Zector frowned and tried his best to get the other to go with them

'I don't think so" Zonic said and opened a portal to some other place, yet they were too slow to stop him as he fell through and disappeared
