Marriage Arrangement || Tenya Iida

"My Dear brother, Tensei, are sure the princess will like me?" The young prince, Tenya Iida asked his brother

The Prince's older brother was preparing his trusty horse and his Tenya's as well. Their father, the king requested the two brothers to go to the kingdom of Dridell, to have an arrange marriage with their queen and king's youngest daughter, Kamiko Hari. Tenya's family and hers has been trading partners for years, and maybe an arrange marriage can help strengthen the relationship of both sides.

He looked at his brother with sympathy, "Of course, Tenya," He ruffled his brother's nicely combed hair, "Why you think of that?" He asked

Tenya blushed, "Well, I'm kind of nervous, brother," He said with a timid tone. Tensei understands. He knows that his brother hasn't been in a relationship, and he has been busy studying. Well, he has talked to girls, but only in a friendly way. Tenya nodded and hopped on his horse, his armor scraping together as they rode along.

The two has arrived to their kingdom and villagers them greeted warmly. Tenya looked up to the castle, it is as big as theirs, but very luxurious. The gates were open and two kids handled their horse as they hopped off. Servants and music greeted them when they entered. The king and queen awaited in the throne room with their daughter—whose somewhat looks unhappy in this situation. A angry pout plastered on her face and arms crossed.

The princes bowed with respect as the king and queen bowed back, but their daughter didn't. The queen seemed irritated and slapped her daughter's arm. She rolled her eyes and bowed.

"How are you in this fine day, your highness," Tensei greeted, grabbing the king's hand and shook it

"I'm fine, Tensei. Looks like you were safe during your travel here," He commented

Tensei laughed, "Oh, and I present to you, the youngest member of the Iida family, my brother, Tenya Iida,"

The queen placed a hand on her daughter's shoulder, "This is my only daughter, Kamiko Hari,"

The girl didn't flinch, but sighed and rolled her eyes—she doesn't seem interested with the whole arrange marriage thing with the prince.

The king sighed in distress, and placed a hand on his forehand, "I apologize for her attitude. You see, her personality is not... lady-like," He reminded

Tenya nodded in understanding, "Oh, I see then," He said

A servant went up and bowed, before speaking to the king, "Your Majesty, lunch is served," She said

The king nodded, "Tenya, Tensei, would you like to accompany us in this afternoon?" The king invited the two as they nodded in reply

The two sides are having a nice lunch, under the giant chandelier that Kamiro's family has. They were served with the finest meal as they enjoyed it together. Tensei was talking to the king and queen as for Kamiko and Tenya haven't spoken any word—especially Kamiko. The princess didn't want to to interact to the prince since she doesn't give crap of this arrange marriage. Kamiko is a different princess. She doesn't want knight in shining armor to save her. She doesn't want to wear gowns and crowns.

Kamiko stood up and started to leave, "I'm leaving now!" She exclaimed

"Kamiko, we talked about that hideous attitude of yours," Her mother scolded, but she was gone

Tenya was concerned about the princess's aggressive personality, it reminds him of a fellow prince he met at school (Boom boom boi). It looks like she doesn't want to be married—or worse, she doesn't want to be a princess. He excused himself and decided to visit her and confront her about her attitude.

Tenya saw her at the fields—doing fencing on her own. Tenya's eyes widened because she looks completely different. The gown and crown is removed and replaced by a coat and slacks, combined wih black boots. Tenya can now tell about her personality. She would rather be a warrior than princess, she would rather be in the battle field than staying inside the castle. Tenya approached her from behind and watch her actions. Her movements is graceful but tough, she looks a ballerina in a fight.

He gathered up the courage to talk to her and popped out in his hiding spot, "My Princess, I didn't know you can fence," He said in a surprised tone

Kamiko jumped and dropped her sword, "My Goodness, do that again or I'll stab you!" She threatens

"She's even worse when she's threatening someone," Tenya thought, "Um.. I'm sorry, my lady, but I was quite interested on watching you fence," He admitted

The princess smirked—confidently, "Why thank you, but you must not tell this to my parents, they will disagree on my doings," She said

"Why? Is it because you hate this arrange marriage to cast onto us?" The young prince questioned

There was a moment of silence, until Kamiko sat on the nicely trimmed grass and invited Tenya to sit with her. He blushed as he accepted her invitation, before the princess sighed sadly, "I was inspired by brother, who is a knight, so I dreamed of becoming like him someday. Although, my parents forced me to do princess things.."

"I mean, why can't let myself dream? When will they stop forcing me into this? I just want to be me, but with their support," She sighed. Tenya understands her pain, Kamiko just want to be free and let herself dream. Become a princess is hard and boring, doing a prefect posture, how to move elegantly, and train to be a queen as well.

"I understand, perhaps you don't want to be married as well," Tenya said, scratching his head in disappointment, the princess caught his heart at first glance

Kamiko's eyes widened, "What? Of course, I want to be married, though I haven't thought about it," She placed her head on top of her hands—pouting

Tenya blushed, he wasn't expecting that the stubborn princess wanted to be married, "But earlier, you look like you didn't care about marriage," He started flailing his arms

The princess laughed at his reaction, "Of course, I wanted to have a man of my dreams..." She trails off, "And I think i already found him," She admitted

Tenya gasped, "Wh—what?!" He exclaimed. Kamiko grabbed him and smashed her lips onto his. The prince melt in the kiss and wrapped his arms around his princess.

........
Inside the castle, Tensei, the king and queen watched the two—who are slowly become a couple. They smile happily as the king was really surprised on his daughter's change of attitude.

"I was not expecting the kiss would be this early," The king said

Tensei laughed, "I think they were meant to be,"
