August pov I was at home laying in my bed smoking a black when I got notification to my phone it was my home boy telling me he got a lead on Angelic and that he gonna need a lil more time to get her, my heart started pounding with excitement I was happy he found her cause I was starting to give up home that I'd never see my baby sister again daddy really misses her. I texted him back asking where he had seen her at and he told me the school grounds I text him telling him that I was gone scoop him when they get out of school. I got up got in the shower and texted chris that I was finna slide for a few hours I grabbed my keys to my new Bentley and left.
Chris's pov I was otp with my momma seeing how she was doing and if she needed anything when August texted me, I haven't heard from him in four days was starting to think he was dead, I opened the message and he told me he was finna slide and that he had to pmh to something, I texted him back Fs and I closed my phone bout 30 mins later there was a knock at my door I went to open it seeing August
"Wassup nigga" I said letting him in
"Wassup foo" he said going to the living room
"Where yo ass been at aint spoke to you in a couple days, niggas thought you was dead" I said joking
"Nah I been in the house ain't been in the mood fa shit lately but guess what" he said
"Man what" I said chuckling
"I gotta lead on angelic" he said geeked
When I heard that my stomach sank, I thought he had given up on looking for her, I thought she was finally free.
"Really" I said
"Yeah, bro" he said leaning back on the couch with a huge ass grin on his face
"How'd you find her" I asked
"I got a young member in the gang that just transferred to her school I got him to bring her too me but it's taking some time, but ion care tho as long as she come back to me" he said
"August man, you know I'm yo dawg and all that but why don't you just leave the girl alone, obviously she scared of you and I'm pretty sure she don't wanna feel like a sex slave or prisoner, she supposed to be your sister your the one she supposed to look to as a hero not a villain" I said
"Man kill all that shit, I am not her villain she just don't know how to listen I just be teaching her a lesson, and don't be tryna tell me how I'm supposed to be treating her, she know I love her and ion really be trying to hurt her" he said
"If you ain't trying to hurt her then stop putting your hands on her" I said
Whatever man, I ain't come over here for you to tell me what to do" he said getting up leaving
"That man need some serious help" I said cutting the tv off and going to my room
Angelic's pov The bell had finally rang for us to go home for the day I was relieved them last 10 minutes were dragging I left the classroom and went to my locker where I was greeted by javar
"Hey ma" he said winking at me
"Hey" I said giving him a smile
"So what you got up today" he asked
"Nothing really, was gonna just go home and do my homework, what about you" I said
"Same thing really, what classes you have homework in?" He asked getting a text message to his phone
"Just biology and our class" I said closing my locker
"How bout you come over my house and We can help each other do our home work" he said
"Sure" I said smiling
"Good, I'll pick you up when I get out the shower" he said
"Okay see you later" I said and he gave me a hug and walked away
I went outside to look for Deshae and I seen August I gasped and ran to hide, my heart was pounding why why why, I felt tears start to welt in my eyes I felt myself breathing heavier and heavier
"Please go away, please go away, please go away" I whispered to myself
"Angelic!!" I heard a familiar voice say
I jumped and looked up with tears in my eyes I sighed in relief
"Deshae please let's hurry up and go" I said jumping up and grabbing is hand and headed to his car
We got into his car and I sighed a bit more I could feel my body shaking
"Lic?, did you see him?" He asked
I shook my head yeah and tears started to fall, I couldn't believe I let this disgusting human being have this much of a hold on me, he gives me panic attacks, I'm not safe
"Fuck, I knew this day would come" he said
"Yeah me too" I said wiping my tears
He started the car and we headed to his house, when we got there I went to Deshae room and sat on the bed, pulled my phone out and texted Chris
"Hey Chris" I said
"Hey gorgeous how you been" he asked
"I been okay up until today😞"I said
"I feel like I know why" he said
"I saw August at my school today when I got out" I said
"I figured he would be up there, listen he got one of his goons on the look out for you, he just transferred there, so be careful please, I really don't want him to get you" he said
"Chris, I'm scared he'll find me😖"I said
"Lic you have to go ot" he said
"What..where imma go" I said
"Florida, Miami..I'll help you get out of here" he said
"How, I'm not prepared, I don't have any money nowhere to stay" I asked
"Leave all that to me just hold in there for about a week, then I'll text you when everything is done and to start packing,...okay?" He said
"Okay" I said
"Alright I'll talk to you later" he said
"Talk to you later" I said and he hung up the phone
I put my phone down on the bed and fell into a deep thought, Deshae kept running threw my mind..I have to leave him and I really don't want to but it's for my safety and to keep me alive, I'll really miss him he been there for me from the start I wish he could come with me.
