Third person POV

William walked speedily to Zara's classroom, he didn't know why he wasn't able to tell her when she first talked to him about it but he knew he had to spill everything he knew.

Kay Kay told him about the people she thought were threatening her and he knew Zara had the right to know. He walked into her class, he knew all eyes on him and since the picture of him and Zara came out, he had been trying to avoid the situation but that was what made him know that Kay Kay's hunch was correct.

She was probably killed because they knew she knew their identities. He used his eyes to look for Zara but she was no where to be found.

"Hi, please excuse me but do you have an idea of where Zara is?" He asked the guy sitting behind Zara.

The guy looked up from his tab and eyed William from head to toe and then cleared his throat. "No, I don't but I heard her talking to her friends about their spot." The guy used his hand to demonstrate.

"Okay, thanks." William walked away from the class and went to his class to stay. He'll probably tell her about it after school, there was no need hurrying unless if maybe her time was already up which it wasn't.

"My guy! You didn't tell me things were becoming serious with you and Zara oh." His best friend, Segun ambushed him as he got to his chair. William groaned and looked at him.

"Guy it just happened yesterday and besides I'm still in shock, you know how Zara can be. One day she's hot and the next she's cold so I really can't predict her right now." I shrugged, because at this point I didn't want to get my hopes up.

Segun hummed and looked at William again, there was something he felt at that moment. Was it jealousy? Anger? He just didn't know. He had this weird feeling that he didn't like.

"I know how she can be and I hope she won't hurt you oh." Segun finally said after plenty internal battles. He squeezed William's back and walked back to his seat. One thing about Segun was the fact that he knew when his best friend wasn't in the mood for jokes.

William couldn't even pay attention in class, no matter how hard he tried. He quickly left the class when the bell for break rang, he had to find Zara and he wasn't comfortable not knowing where she was.

Break was soon over and he knew he couldn't get to the spot where the girls usually meet during school hours because of risk of someone seeing him.

He was trying so hard to concentrate on his Maths class. Everyone's phone suddenly rang and they all reached for their tabs.

William couldn't believe what he saw on it, he refused to believe his eyes. He turned to look at Segun, who was looking at his tab wide eyed. William was fuming with anger and he didn't know when he stood up from his chair and went to meet Segun.

"Guy wait, let me explain!" Segun stood up, retreating with his hands up. William was at least two inches taller than Segun and that made him look more intimidating.

"Looks like Virgin Mary isn't a virgin after all." Glory said, making herself and her minions laugh.

William scoffed and looked at him with blood shot eyes, ignoring Glory's comment. "Explain what? You're just unbelievable." He said, walking out of the class and ignoring the teacher who kept screaming his name.

Zara's POV

I looked at the pictures staring back at me on the screen. It was a picture of Segun and I having sex during Kay Kay's party.

"Oh for fuck's sake. Does this person want to ruin my life?" I asked, putting my hands on my head. At this point, I was close to tears.

Segun and I both agreed that what happened at that party stays at the party. Although he wanted to be in a relationship with me but I didn't want him to ruin his friendship with William because of me and I also didn't feel that way about him.

"That means none of our secrets are safe because if they were, she won't have sent this out to the whole school." Immediately I heard to the whole school, I rose my head to look at Derin and the twins.

"The whole school?" I asked and Derin nodded.

"That's bad, that's very bad. Now I don't think any of us are safe." Ziora mumbled.

My heart was beating so fast, my head was spinning and I was really confused about what was going on. The picture of William and I kissing was still fresh in the minds of people and then this one of me and Segun just came out of nowhere. I was exhausted mentally and emotionally.

We soon heard a knock on our door, we all looked at ourselves before Derin stood up to open the door.

"Oh hey, William." Derin said and I quickly looked up to see William standing at the door. He was about to talk before our eyes met, he looked really upset. In all my years of knowing William, I had never seen him that way before.

I stood up from my chair and maintained the eye contact. I didn't know how I was going to start explaining things to him.

"I think you should come in before someone sees you standing there." One of the twins said. At that point, my brain refused to identify voices.

He came inside and Derin and the twins left the room to give us some sort of privacy. He moved towards the bed and sat down, he looked at me like he was waiting for me to start the conversation.

"I guess you've seen the picture, I'm so sorry William. It was just a one time thing and it wasn't even meant to happen but it did and I wish I could go back to the day but I can't." I paused and tried to blink the tears away. I tried talking again but I choked on my own tears.

"Really? Zara, Segun is my best friend for God's sake. Of all people you could play your mind games with, why did you have to choose him." I couldn't believe William was the one saying all that to me.

"Are you for real? I'm playing mind games? Jesus Christ. I can't believe you right now. I already said it was a mistake and it was just a one time thing." I cleaned the tears in my eyes and went to sit beside him. I tried holding his hand but he snatched it out of my grip and stood up from the bed. I could barely even keep eye contact with him.

"Zara you slept with my best friend and when we resumed, you kept on avoiding me like I was the one that did something wrong. I tried for weeks to talk to you but you always did your best to avoid me. I thought we were beginning to make progress but I guess not. Have a nice life, Zara." With that, he left the room angrily and I flinched to the sound of the door.

The girls rushed into the room almost immediately. The three of them each came to my side to hug me. Ziora kept saying "I'm here for you, we're all here for you."

After about ten minutes of absolute silence, the door opened and we saw Angela and Anita at the door.

"What are you guys doing here?" Ziora said, standing up from the door. If looks could kill, Anita would be six feet below already.

"Sorry to interrupt your pity party but you guys need to get out of here now. They're coming." Anita said and we all looked at ourselves.

We all knew who she meant.
