Epilogue

It's been a week since everything that happened with Mide and Wendy. It turned out that Wendy's parents withdrew her from RVHS and took her to a mental health facility. Mide on the other hand was awaiting trial.

Apparently, while we were talking to Mide on the bleachers, Angela and Anita hacked into everyone's tab in school and made them hear everything he said. So I'll say it was a sweet takedown.

Everything was finally back to normal, the girls and I were no longer getting beeps from our tabs. Anita and Angela had somehow become part of our squad. Although, I was spending most of my time with William.

We were currently having our last class for the day, Mathematics. I actually loved Mathematics so much, it was one of my favorite subjects.

The bell was the closing of school finally rang and we all marched out of the class happily. The girls and I met  at the gate leading to our hostel.

"Have you guys seen Anita?" Angela asked, as soon as she came to where we were standing.

"She's probably lurking around somewhere, looking for someone to bully." Ziora stated and we all laughed but I couldn't help but notice the look of worry on Angela's face. I made a mental note to ask her about it later, it wouldn't be anything too serious right?

I walked into my room with Angela, dropping my bag almost immediately and going into the bathroom to have my bath. I was feeling sticky because of the sweat.

I came out with my towel wrapped around my body. I looked at Angela's bed but she wasn't there anymore, it looked like she slipped out when I was in the bathroom.

I dressed up and laid down to have my siesta. I was too tired to go and have  lunch. It was soon time for prep and Angela wasn't back from wherever she went.

I took all my reading materials and went to our study room. I kept looking at the door, trying to figure out when Angela was going to walk through the door. Prep was soon over and it was time for recreation.

I was walking to my room when I heard a scream, I turned back and saw some of the girls from my block pointing at something. On a normal day, I would ignore whatever it was and continue going to my room but something drew me back to where they were standing.

We all saw Anita on the ground in a pool of her own blood. So much for normal, Angela was on the ground, close to her body with a paper in her hand and she was sobbing badly.

The twins were with her, they both had grim expressions on their faces. I ran downstairs and hugged Angela.

"It's not over Zara, I'm scared that this is only the beginning." I looked at the twins and then took the paper from Angela.

"The worst is yet to come" was boldly written with red.

Guess I spoke too soon then.
