"When do you think she is going to wake up?"

"I don't know."

Maybe it's better if she doesn't.

"Do you guys know what happened?"

"It's hard to say. I don't know how much of it was actually her."

She was out of control.

"Not her? What do you mean?"

"It was like someone pulling a trigger on a bomb. One moment everything was calm, and then BOOM!"

She's a loose cannon.

"Do you think she is going to be okay? We can't afford to lose anyone else."

She isn't worth it

*kthunk*

Your head rattled against a window and your groggy eyes lazily opened. You mindlessly watched as dozens of trees and adobe buildings flew by all scattered by miles of sandy turf. It could've just been a result of sleeping against the window, but your head felt like it was exploding. You let out a small groan and readjusted yourself in the seat.

Wait.

How did I get here?

The last thing I remember... we were in Calcutta. Polnareff saw something in the bathroom, and he got mad and left.

Am I alone here?

Your eyes flicked to the side. Other than you, the bench was empty. A hint of dread began to take root in your heart.

I did something, didn't I?

I was too quiet. Too annoying. Too needy. Too much trouble.

They got tired of me and left me.

Do I dare even look around to see if they are here? I'm just signing myself up for disappointment, aren't I?

Fighting the building resistance in your chest, you meekly peeked over the edge of your seat. Your eyes meet a mass of bright red locks, short on the top, but gaining length as you went down. Next to him, a mass of unruly black hair somehow kept together by the shambles of a hat.

They're still here.

Your chest lightened ever so slightly. Your eyes continued to scan the scene in front of you. In the bench adjacent to Kakyoin and Jotaro, Mr. Joestar sat leaned back with his hat over his face, probably dozing off from the ride, and past the elder's resting form you saw a tall plume of white hair, its owner staring vacantly out the window.

He came back.

How did I miss that?

Wait... where's Avdol?
