America was sitting in his office with Interpol. Both were quiet as they looked over papers. The papers were any info that they had that might contain leads.

And there were four more boxes of it off to the side of the room.

It was all they could do until Greenland gave them a translation. They were still trying to find him. But the city was large, and the country never had his phone on.

"You okay there, Merica?" Interpol snaps the freedom country from his thoughts. He realizes that he's spaced out again.

"Yeah, I'm fine," America responds bluntly.

"As much as I don't care," Interpol continues. "Maybe you should take a break,"

"I don't need to," He takes a sip of coffee. It was his sixth cup that day. "Not until I find something,"

"Which might take a while,"

"Then I'll take a break in 'a while',"

Interpol narrows his eyes but goes back to searching the files.

A half an hour later, Canada walks in.

"We just got ahold of Greenland," The taller brother says. "He's coming in to help us,"

America nods and stands up from his desk. He keeps a hand on it to steady himself after getting immediately dizzy.

I've been sitting too long... He tells himself.

America and Interpol follow Canada out and down the hall. The freedom country can't shake the dizziness, so he stays close to the wall in case he falls over. Interpol keeps glancing at him.

"You sure you're okay?" He mumbles.

America doesn't respond, and the organization awkwardly looks away again.

The freedom country reaches up under his sunglasses and rubs the sleep away from his eyes.

I have to keep going...have to...

The next thing he knows, he's lying on the ground on his side. Canada runs over to him while Interpol just watches from the side, obviously not knowing what to do.

America tries to push himself back up, but his arms are to weak to do so. Canada rolls him onto his back and starts saying something that America can't make out.

No no I have to find her...

His thoughts soon become blurry as well. After that, everything's dark.

Y/n wakes up on her side. She hadn't meant to fall asleep, but apparently she had done so anyway.

Least to say, China had not been happy about her biting his hand.

She winces as she sits upright. Her body is littered with cuts and bruises from his angry outburst, where he had also probably broken one or two of her ribs.

Y/n looks down at her arm, which was still bleeding from a deeper cut. She winces again from the pain it causes.

After a lot of difficulty, she manages to rip a strip of the bed sheet off. Y/n can't tie it too tight around the wound, since all she could really use was her mouth and sometimes her other hand, but it slows the bleeding down just a bit.

"I would have helped you with that,"

She looks up as China walks in. He sits next to her cot with his signature calm expression on his face. Y/n moves away from him.
