THAT evening Zyver said that he will teach me how to cook tinola daw. I really liked it kasi when he cooked that for me during my second day of staying here in his house. I did all of the chopping of ingredients it’s quite hard for Ver kasi, you know his right hand naman diba.
I’m pouring the patis na on the pot. “Okay naba ito?” I asked.
Tumabi sya sakin at tinikman ang sabaw. “Yup! Ang bilis mo matuto ah.”
Nilingon ko sya at naka-tunghay din sya sakin. Natahimik kami, I noticed that his head is getting nearer to mine. My eyes widened, is he going to kiss me? I pikit my eyes and slightly pouted my lips. Okay, I’m ready na. I waited for it to dampi my lips but I’m so naiinip na. Ang tagal naman? I immediately opened my eyes when I heard a kalansing.
There he is, nakuha ng plato! Sa sobrang angry ko ay umikot ako patalikod but because my hand swinged, I accidentaly touched the hot pot!
“Aray!” I screamed. It’s so sakit. Mabilis na nag-run sakin at kinuha ang hand ko. He examined the paso then he pulled me towards the kwarto.
He made me sat on the bed tapos ay nag-punta sya sa bathroom. Pag-balik nya ay may hawak syang ointment.
“Bakit kasi hindi ka nag-iingat?” He scolded me. I made irap. It was his fault kaya.
I gasped when he applied the ointment on the paso but it doesn’t really feel that painful. Mas masakit ang heart ko, like it’s nag-cry-cry-cry talaga. Hmp!
He stood up after he’s done applying the ointment but suddenly tinukod nya ang hands nya sa side ko then nag-lean forward. I closed my eyes, hala ito na talaga. He’s going to kiss me na. I waited na naman but I felt his hand touched my left eye.
“May muta ka.”
With that I quickly opened my eyes and pushed him. “Nakakainis ka talaga!”
He looked at me with confused eyes. Painosente kapa jan! Hmp!
We ate silently that night. Habang nasa bed ako ay nag-pagulong-gulong ako. I can’t sleep! Grabe, am I looking so chararat na naman ba? Kulang na ako lagi sa sleep because of Ver. I’m so ugly na ata kaya ayaw nya ako pansinin! I need something to make me sleep!
