Me: Well how's your day been?

Sam: long, hbu?

Me: Long? That's it? And hbu?

Sam: how bout you

Me: You can't spell that out?

Sam: nope i'm lazy

Me: Well how was your day, lazy? That's a full question that deserves a full answer ;)

Sam: i've been working on my class all day and my professor decided that assigning us three papers before the break was a good idea, i don't have a paycheck coming in anymore cuz it became too hard to keep teaching when my students live in a different state (i taught piano), my sister was supposed to call today but she got too busy, and my roommate has basically kicked me out of the rest of the apartment besides my room... again... and i was too tired to even be upset about it this time. so it's been long and i tried to sleep but i had too much on my mind so i'm sorta just laying here. what about you, how was your day? there, was that better ;)

Me: Yeah it was. Whoa I'm sorry, sounds like it's been tough

Sam: i'll survive. and you have nothing to be sorry for, none of it's your fault

Me: Just because it isn't my fault, doesn't mean I don't feel bad and wish I could do something to make it better

Sam: hey that's what i say!! and you never answered my question

Me: My day was good

Sam: i just typed out my entire life story, i deserve more than just a good

Me: My day really was good! We had a concert today and now I'm with the lads, doing nothing

Sam: wow how exciting

I chuckled at the screen. I was about to respond when my phone was quickly snatched out of my hands.

"Ooh, texting Sammy, are we?" Louis taunted, holding my phone away from me.

"Lou, give it back," I groaned.

"Only if you promise to invite Sam over," he told me. I pulled back a bit in surprise.

"What?" I asked. Niall looked up from his position on the couch.

"Oh, yes, can you?" he pleaded.

"You definitely should, mate," Liam added, joining the conversation. I looked at the three guys in front of me, almost positive the shock was extremely evident on my face.

"I'm sorry . . . what?" I repeated.

"You should tell Sammy to come over," Louis replied.

"It's been what, four days since we last saw her?" Liam wondered aloud.

"Yeah, four days is so long ago," Niall added. "Way too long ago." I just stared at them, my mouth gaping open like a fish out of water.

"You want me to-" I attempted before being interrupted.
