It was late August I'm already 22 Oscar 24 and Santiago officially 5 and ready to go to school soon

"go get me your shoes" I hear oscar tell Santiago
Santiago runs out the room with a black button up shirt and some kacky shorts
"mama where are my shoes" Santiago said coming up to me
"next to the door" I say pointing at them

"hold up one more thing" oscar said going back to the room
"come on Oscar" I call out

"alright" he said once he put the gold chain around Santiago neck

"he gets it from me" oscar said kissing my cheek

"Ma I told you I'm a big kid now" Santiago said crossing his arms

"excuse me" I say putting his seatbelt on

"at the restaurant fixing some stuff up" I say
"can we go" he asked
"yah" I say taking a turn
