I never thought that this could be true, but it's happening.

And no, it's not 'cause I'm still in love with you, it's 'cause I am not. Yeah, you read that right, you've made me realise that I'm over you.
Seeing you doesn't open up a flood of all those memories inside my brain, nor do they try to submerge it.
Reading our texts doesn't bring back that familiar ache of what could have been.
A few words with you don't leave me smiling like an idiot the whole day.
Your pictures don't bring out that desire and longing in me.
I can manage to have a whole conversation with you and not burst with bubbly excitement nor try to analyse every word.
Yeah, nothing's happening as we expected. I was afraid that if you return, I might fall all over again, and that's why, I didn't want you to.
But you know what, I'm glad you came back, because you showed me I have truly and finally moved on.
