CHAPTER 20: HAPPILY EVER AFTER
Manuel was happy. Everyone was nice to him here. They were all taking care of him and making him feel at home.
On the other hand, Adrian made sure Manuel was being loved. He was the perfect mate and Manuel couldn't be happier.
Today, something was strange though. Manuel woke up to find Adrian's side empty. Normally, Adrian would wake him up to have breakfast together.
When he was heading to the kitchen, he saw the maids whispering while looking at him.
The maids were nice to him and always helped him if he needed something.
He went toward them, "Excuse me, Did you see Adrian anywhere?" He asked.
"The king went outside. We don't know where" One of them answered. "By the way, your highness. There is something the king wants you to do tonight."
"Really? What is it?" Manuel asked curiously. "Yes, he wants you to wait for him dressed nicely" The maid said smiling.
"Ohh, okay. Thank you" Manuel said.
The day went so slow, or maybe because he was missing Adrian and he couldn't wait to see him.
At 10pm, Manuel was dressed in a beautiful outfit that he found in their room with a small note.
'Wear this and wait for me on our balcony, I'll came at 10pm. Love you.' He smiled widely. He was so in love with his dragon/fairy mate.
He went to the balcony, enjoying the cold breeze. Then, like a fairy tale, his mate landed on the railing. He shifted back to his human form and went close to Manuel.
"Hi, baby. You're looking so beautiful as always" Adrian said and kissed his lips softly.
Manuel hugged him tight. "I missed you so much" Manuel said shyly. "Missed you more baby Now let's go" Adrian wrapped his arms around his waist and went down.
Manuel was busy looking at his mate. Admiring how handsome he was, when he noticed they were in a beautiful field with colored flowers. A huge lake with the moonlight reflecting on the surface.
"This place is owned by the fairies". Adrian explained to him. "It's so beautiful. I love it" Manuel said happily.
"But, why are we here?" Manuel asked. Playing with Adrian's fingers.
"Manuel, My sweet mate. I brought you hear to tell you that I want to spend my whole life with you. I want to replace each bad memory with a beautiful one" Adrian said while pulling Manuel closer.
Manuel was at the verge of tears. What did he do to deserve a mate like Adrian.
"Thank you for being here with me, Chan. I love you so much" Manuel said going on his tiptoes to kiss his mate on the lips.
Their kiss became deeper. Manuel felt Adrian lifting him up. He broke the kiss and looked to were Adrian was going.
He saw a small beautiful hut. Adrian entered it with Manuel in his arms. Placing him on the edge of a bed. He kneeled in front of him.
"Would you be mine, Manuel? Would you allow me to mark you as mine" Adrian asked gently, taking Manuel's hand in his.
"Yes, please. I'm already yours. So take me please Alpha" Manuel said it and Adrian pushed him on the bed. Kissing him lovingly.

Adrian pulled Manuel toward him, hugging his body tightly. Manuel kissed Adrian neck and softly bit down after his mate. With that, they kissed each other. Unsaid promises with that kiss.
"l love you" Manuel said, lying with his head against his mate's chest.
"Love you more, baby" Adrian said and kissed his forehead. Pulling the cover on their bodies. They went to sleep happily.
Now, life was fair for both of them. Manuel found the family that will love him forever. The person who will stay with him no matter what happens .
And Adrian took his revenge from who killed his father. He found his mate, and saved him from his pack.
Now both of them can live peacefully. With each other, they will fight against every thing together.
That's what they both deserved.
