Levi x Reader - Her Reckless Behaviour

I'm in Erwin's office after he asked to meet me once we got back to HQ. Hange is sitting in the seat next to me while Levi leans up against a wall. I glance at him, his eyes narrowly watching Erwin talk. As I watch him watch Erwin I tell myself to pay attention to what he is saying.

"This recent expedition was simply to gather information on your hometown,"

"Mhm," I nod my head to show that I am paying attention. Hange then cuts in with a surprisingly serious tone and I look over at her.

"We've noticed that your abilities come with some...side effects," I raise an eyebrow at the emphasis she places on some words as if questioning them herself. "I've noticed that you seem very nervous, for example, while we were arriving at Krovla you had put your hood up correct?"

I glance at Levi once again and he's observing me. I look back at Hange, "Yeah, but...i'm just an anxious person I guess," I let out a nervous laugh as I look at Erwin who has an eyebrow raised before I look back at Hange who pushes her glasses up catching the sunlight from the sunset.

"Alright, and can you tell me what you felt during that moment?"

"Um..." I feel chills rush through me as my hands start trembling, "I felt my hands shake and my breathing felt kind of heavy," I look down at the ground feeling the same side effects rising up during this questioning. I notice Hange's hand move and my eyes dart to the movement and in a blink of an eye I have her hand pinned up behind her back. Noticing what i've done I quickly let go and apologize as I look down at my hands. Hange lets out an excited laugh as she hugs me forgetting what I just did. She pulls away keeping her hands on my shoulders as she examines me.

"(y/n) did you feel all of that right now?" I feel a tightness in my chest as I give her a nod. My breathing increases and I feel everything spinning. I tightly shut my eyes as I am steadied onto the chair. I take deep breaths as I slowly open my eyes to meet Hange's wide eyes close to my face.

"Hange do you not learn?" Levi's stern voice comes from behind Erwin's desk as he pinches his nose frustrated by Hange's actions.

"It's just so fascinating!!" she exclaims as she quickly backs away placing her hands on Erwins desk returning to her serious tone, "I would like to immediately do some testing with her sir."

"Let her rest and you can get started tomorrow." she lets out a disappointed sigh as she turns around pushing her glasses up once again.

"Alright, (y/n) i'll see you tomorrow," she pats my head and I resist grabbing her arm and flipping her by shutting my eyes.

"It's like she wants her to do it," mutters Levi as he walks towards me. "Well, i'll make sure she gets to her room," I get up from my seat slowly opening my eyes to find everything has stopped spinning. I salute the commander and he gives me a nod in return. Levi and I walk out of his office and we quietly make our way to my room.

Halfway there Levi grabs my hand and I turn to face him. He passes a hand through his hair before looking at me longingly and he pulls me in for a hug. His chin softly resting on my head before he pulls away, "Why don't you join me tonight," my eyes widen as I gawk at him, "Tch- I just want you close,". I soften my gaze and give him a soft nod. Once we arrive at his clean room and he closes the door I wrap my arms around his neck almost knocking him off his feet. He places a soft hand on my back and I give him a sweet smile before my lips softly meet his. This soft kiss soon turns into a wrestling match between tongues (oof hard cringe).

When we finally pull away he softly places his hand on my chin as he gently tilts my head to look up at him.

"Time for bed, cadet," his voice husky and quiet. I give him a quick eye-roll before I turn around.

"I'm gonna need some-" my sentence is interrupted by some clothes hitting me in the face as I turn back around. "Tch- rude," he lets out a chuckle before I head over to his bathroom to change for bed. As I put my hair up in a ponytail I find Levi laying in bed reading a book.

"Whatcha reading?" I ask playfully.

"A book about titans," he places the book on his nightstand next to a dimly lit candle.

"Oh, just a nice before bed read huh," He makes room in his bed lifting to sheets for me to get in. I get in bed as I lie facing him, he tucks a few fly aways behind my ear. Feeling his soft touch calms my racing mind and I close my eyes. His soft lips brush my forehead and I open my eyes watching him pull away.

"Goodnight...Levi," I say softly turning around,

"Goodnight (y/n)," his hands wrap around my waist as he pulls me closer to him. Feeling his warmth against my body I quickly fall asleep with a smile on my lips.
