driving alone
driving alone
has a sense of freedom
you can do anything within this enclosed space
you can burst out singing
or talk to yourself
or break down in tears for no apparent reason.
maybe this is something everyone knows
but i've only just discovered it,
blessed as i am with a constant companion.
the trouble with constant compainions;
they make you fear solitude
and crave it
with every fiber of your soul.
