Athy's POV
A year passed by.
I'm still learning how to get a scholarship in Archland academy.
Yes.. I'am learning with Lucas the whole time.
But daddy also get me a tutor, so Lucas can had a rest once in a while.
Actually.. being stuck in Adelaide mansion is kinda boring with dad busy with his work.
But I slowly learn something from him.
For example, to hid his identity, he use his magice to change his hair colour and eyes. Suprisingly nobody noticed.
"Athy! Stop daydreaming the whole time!"
Lucas slammed the table on purpose to make me shock.
This isn't the first time he did this.. always..
I flinched a bit, glad I didn't fell of the chair.
"But I'm just seven-"
I said and sighed.
"Seven or not, if you learn more, the more knowledge you gain, the easier you understand archland's standards.."
Lucas said and continue reading his book.
I really wanna know how Janette's doing..
I don't know why..
"Lucas.. can you teleport me to ruby palace?"
I asked.
"Why?"
"I want to see Janette!"
I smiled.
"I also wanted to give her some cakes and cookies, they are delicious"
I hold a bag of cookies and brownies.
"Spare some for me"
Lucas said, and swing his fingers.
I end up seeing green grass, tress, and a pond.
"Is this ruby palace?.."
I whispered to myself.
I looked around.
Some decorations have been changed, it's been a while...
"Yes.. good bye father"
A girl voice- that must be Janette..
Oh but Claude is around. I'll be dead if he notices.
I hide behind the bush and take a peek.
I see Janette sitting alone, drinking some tea.
It's clear.
"Janette!"
I called out and smile.
She glanced at me.
"I brought some cookie!"
I show her the bag of cookies and brownies I brought with me.
"A-athanasia?.. why are you here? This is not safe"
Janette said and pulled my arms.
She bring me a place with lots of tree and bushes.
"What brings you here?"
Janette asked.
"Cookies?"
I said and tilt my head a bit. I know.. I look like an idiot.
"Aww, thank you"
She smiled.
"How was his majesty? Is he healthy?.."
I asked.
Janette looked at me.
"He.. was doing kinda fine.."
She said.
"Great"
I said and smiled.
"But.. he really miss you.."
She said and looked down.
Now I feel bad for Janette. She is very sweet and pretty. But I also understand she is lonely. She didn't get enough affection, I understand that feeling well.
"He probably don't.. don't worry too. I have a lot of cookies, you can have this"
I said and tried to cheer her up.
"Really?.. Thankyou!!"
She hugged me. This actually felt really.. warm.
"Ctakk!"
I went back to the library and see Lucas chewing all the brownies.
"You take a really long time.. and forgot to spare some brownies"
He mumbled.
"I'm really glad Janette is doing fine.."
I sighed in relief.
Why am I worrying about her?.. she's the one who took my position as a princess.. leaving me as a daughter of the viscount.
"You're too kind, Athy"
Lucas said.
I glanced at him
"Sometimes.. if you are too kind.. you can be manipulated."
