"Checkmate!"
Athy cheerfuly informed with a big smile on her face.
After several matches, she finally won, once.

"I see.. you finally understand how i play this game.."
Lucas grinned.

"Haha, but at least i won one match with you. You're quite good at this.."
Athy complimented Lucas.
"Felix used to teach me how to play this game.. and Lily too.. and then i play this with daddy in tea times!"

"That explained why you're actually very good at this.."
Lucas glanced to Athy.
"I actually almost lost to you couple of time, but glad i made a way out.."

"Oh.. is that so?"
Athy giggled.

"Mhm, unlike other peoples who i've played with.. you're better than them.. smarter too"
Lucas said.

"Are you complimenting me?"
Athy sneered.

"N-no!"
Lucas quickly replied.
"I'm just telling... the fact"

"Okay, sure.."
Athy grinned.

"By the way.. where's the viscount?"
Lucas asked, looking around.

"Daddy is in Duke Alpheus's residence, he is helping him with some important documents.."
Athy explains, sipping her coco.

"Ah, i see"
Lucas sighed.

"But Lucas.."
Athy called, placing her mug on the table slowly.
She glanced to Lucas with her sad eyes,
"Why didn't you tell me.. that.."

Lucas starred at Athy's eyes,
"That what?.."

"That.. Jenette didn't have any magic power.."
Athy told lucas.

"Ah.. i see that Julie probably told you that"
Lucas rest his chin on the palm of his hand,
"But you don't need to worry about that chimera"

"She must've felt presure.. seeing her friends with magic in class.."
Athy said, feeling bad for her.

"Why are you feeling bad for her?"
Lucas narrowed his eyes on Athy,
"Isn't she the one that kicked you off from your position as a princess?"

"I know but.."
Athy holds her hand tightly,
"She's still counted as my sister"

Lucas's eyes widened,
"Sis..ter?.. Pfffttt!! Haha!!"
He chuckled, like a madman.
"Athy.. you know she's made of dark magic, right?"
Lucas tilt his head to look at Athy's reaction.

"I know.."
Athy sighed, looking away.
"But.. she's still my daddy's daughter somehow.. i can't just ditch her.."

"Does he even show a face to Jenette?"
Lucas lifted an eyebrow.

"No.."
Athy shook her head.

"He doesn't care about her, he only care about you now."
Lucas said.

"I'm sorry but.. Jenette is still a friend"
Athy said, with a different tone,
It sounded like Athy didn't want to continue about this convo any more, well she was hoping her sentence would be the last about Jenette.
'Why did i even ask..'
She rest her forehead on her hands.

"Athy.. are you okay?.."
Lucas started to looked worrying about Athy.

"Mhm, i'm perfectly fine.."
Athy sighed, and let a small smile on her face.

"Okay, if you say so"
Lucas nods.

It's been couple of minutes since the two didn't talk.
Athy kept reading her books,
And lucas just starred on the view.

Something crossed on Athy's mind..

'What if.. daddy still have feelings for Jenette.. since he was the one who wanted to create Jenette with magic..'
A thought suddenly passed by.
'What if.. he ends up loving and adoring Jenette more..'

"Athy"
Lucas called, with his eyes starring widely on her.

"H-huh?.."
Athy responded.

"What are you thinking?.."
Lucas asked.
'Thats a lot of mana.. glowing on her..'

"Hmm.. n-nothing.. hehe.."
Athy giggled and smile.
"I was just.. reading this book"

"Sure thing.."
Lucas sighed, and mind his own bussiness.

'I notice why daddy would always.. ignore Jenette.. does it means.. he is ignoring her so he won't feel any simpathy?..'
