Athy gasped.
He looked at Anastacius and Claude repeatedly.
'W-what will daddy say to defend himself?.. if he said he's anastacius.. he's dead..'
Athy think hardly.
Jenette notice Athy's face change,
From sadness to confusement.
'What is she thinking?..'
"I'm sorry, your majesty, but it's my duty to obey sir Anastacius's order"
Anastacius replied to Claude, who already starred at Anastacius with his death glares.
"But he's gone, he didn't have to know. Like he'll care about this child. I'll take care and love her as she is my daughter"
Claude said, reaching for Athy's hair to touch her golden, smooth, and shiney hair.
Anastacius holds his hand before he touch Athy's hair.
He also gave death glares to Claude and a gloomy face,
It's like he's sayying to Claude,
'You touch her, you die here'
Of course, for Claude and Felix, it looks like a threat.
Every guards, including Felix, surrounded Anastacius.
"Let go of his majesty's hand"
Felix commanded.
"If you're sayying you'll treat her like a princess.. why didn't you do that since long ago?!"
Anastacius asked.
He never looked this mad before.
Even this face manage to make Athy scared.
"A-ah.. your majesty.. daddy must be panicking.. i'm very sorry for his rude behaviour.."
Athy apologized and grab Anastacius's hand slowly.
"Maybe what he actually mean is he already loved me as he's own daughter, and he is too afraid to lose me"
Athy said, more like a murmur but it's still hearable.
Anastacius flinched a bit, he finally relized he is doing a very danger job.
"Hah?.."
He sighed.
"I'm sorry.. i got carried away.."
He smiled.
"Forgive me, your majesty, for my rude behaviour.."
Claude starred at Anastacius's face once again.
His smile just made claude relize something,
'He looks.. familiar.. I can also feel the mana inside him when I touched him.. so he's not a weak man?'
Claude thought and looked at him carefully again.
He looked at Athy, who's looking desperate for his answers.
He wave his hands to felix to tell them to back off.
'Whats happening?.. why do i feel like.. she's the centre of attention?..'
Jenette asked herself while she glance at Athy and Claude in repeat.
"Anyways.. Athy.. go drink your herbal tea.. it's good for your health. I made it with all of my heart"
Anastacius smiled and pat her head.
"Daddy made it?.. waaa thats very kind"
Athy looked very cheerful after knowing anastacius made it, while he lied, he asked Lili to help for many times.
"Thankyou, daddy"
Anastacius smiled, seeing Athy enjoying the tea and forget the trouble easily.
"I'll take my leave.. blessing and glory upon the Obelian empire"
Anastacius permitted and walked away.
"Athy!"
Jenette called.
"Is it sweet?"
Jenette asked, pointing at the tea kettle and cup made from clear glass, showing the colour of light green tea filled with flowers.
"Mhm, the sweetness came from honey, i think"
Athy replied.
"You want to try some?"
'It looks like poison..'
Claude thought.
"Jenette, your tea is cold?"
He quickly asked.
"Ehh?? No, father, why?"
Jenette answered, looking confused.
"It looks like Jasmine tea is better than whatever Athy's drinking"
Claude said.
At this point, Athy felt a bit of shame.
"Ahh.. is that so?"
Jenette giggled a bit.
"I didn't asked for the her tea, no thankyou, Athy"
Jenette smiled.
"Mkay, suit yourself"
Athy murmured and started to stir her tea in repeat.
'Jasmine tea is even not close to this one..'
