"A-ah.. your highness, prince Anastacius, what a pleasure to see you today!"
A man greeted and bows infront of him while Anastacius climb down his carriege.
"I'm here to see the girl"
Anastacius speaks.
The man suddenly looked pale.
"A-ah.. her.. umm.. she's not avalaible today.."
The man lied.
"Heh? Why? I've come a long way tho, just to see her"
Anastacius pouted.
"Well-umm.. she's not feeling well"
The man continues.
"So? Isn't it good for me to visit her when she's not okay?.."
Anastacius asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I've brought her gifts"
"B-but your highness.."
The man tries to stop him from entering.
"I know, you're the duke"
Anastacius narrowed his eyes,
"I know your position is higher than mine, but i'm here because my father asked me"
"A-ah.. his majesty did?.."
The man backs off.
"Keep distance.."
Anastacius walks away,
"You're pissing me off"
The guards opened the door for Anastacius and his servants who's carrying gifts.
"Umm.. excuse me.. but where is.. lady Diana's room?.."
Anastacius asked the butler.
"I'll show the way"
The butler smiled and walked infront of him.
Along the way, Anastacius didn't see any Diana's paintings, only the Duke and duchess's and their other children.
"Why so?.."
He asked himself.
"You must've been wondering why lady Diana isn't in any of these pictures.."
The butler said.
"Hu?.. umm.. kinda"
Anastacius said.
"As you see, lady Diana isn't the child of the duke's, she was only a young abandoned child on the streets."
The butler explains,
"But the late duchess pitied her, and decided to adopt her to the family.."
"The late duchess?.. duchess Ilynia?.."
Anastacius asked.
"Yes, duchess Ilynia"
The butler said,
"But sadly, she passed away, and lady Diana was no longer loved by the family members.. ever since the duke found his new duchess.. lady diana suffered miserably.."
"Ah.. i see.."
Anastacius sighed.
"Yes, she thrown away all paintings of her, and also treat her badly.."
The butler wiped a tear from his eye.
"But.. how long till we reach her room?.."
Anastacius asked, pointing the long hallway ahead.
"Hmm.. couple of minutes later.. she sleeps in the attic.."
The butler replied.

"Lady Diana.. a special guest would like to see you.."
The butler knocks.
"He also brought goodies!"
"I don't want to meet anyone, butler Louis.."
She replied.
"Aww.. comeone.. lady, thats rude to kick guests off your place.. specialy.. he climb this tall stairs just to see you.."
The butler giggled, looking at Anastacius who's breatheless.
Few minutes later, the sound of key clicking was heard.
She finally unlock her room.
"There you go, your highness, please take your time"
The butler said,
"And.. please make her happy.."
The butler walks down the stairs slowly,
Anastacius grabs his gifts for her and enters the room.
"Diana?.."
Anastacius called.
His eyes widened seeing how dark and dirty her room is, and how messy it is. It looks like an old chamber more than a room.
"What?"
Diana replied with a cold tone.
"I brought gifts!"
Anastacius smiled.
"Thankyou"
She quickly replied.
"You can go.."
"Hee??? It's rude to repel your guests"
Anastacius smiled.
"So?"
Diana raised an eyebrow, while her face is still focusing on the outside view.
"I know you feel uncomfortable here, so just leave"-
"It's fine.. it's almost as messy as Claude's room"
Anastacius chuckled and sat on the chair.
"Clide?"
Diana asked.
"No, it's Claude, my little brother"
Anastacius repeated.
"Claude?.. huh?.."
Diana whispers.
"What is he like?"
"You're interested in him more than me?"
Anastacius raised an eyebrow, looking disapointed.
"I'm sorry.. your highness"
Diana apologizes.
She started to play with her hands since she's getting scared.
Anastacius starred at her dirty night gown and messy hair, unlike the last time she visited, she was very neat and pretty.
He also saw bruises on her hands and leg.
'Yeah.. prettymuch like claude..'
"Why do you reject me?"
Anastacius steps closer to Diana,
"Last time?"
At this moment, he's very close to Diana, too close.
Diana closes her eyes, she's scared she would be hit or flogged by him.
"I-i'm sorry your highness.."
She cried,
"I'm sorry..."
"E-eh?.. why are you crying?.."
Anastacius's eyes widened.
"I'm sorry to reject you and gave you that flower.."
She cried again.
"I-it's.."
Anastacius laid his eyes on her,
His hands started to move without his notice and ending up hugging her,
"It's fine.."
Of course, as a reflex, Diana backs off,
"My clothes.."
Diana looks down in shame,
"Are dirty.."
"Pfft.. haha.. it's fine"-
Anastacius chuckles,
"You still looked pretty"
"By the way.."
Anastacius glanced to Diana,
"A banquet will be held soon, you have to come, it's my order"
Anastacius smiled.
"I'm gonna visit my little brother, so.. it's nice to meet you, lady"
Anastacius kissed the back of diana's hand and left.
Diana starred blankly at the door thats shutting.
He holds the back of her hand,
"Claude?.."
She whispers.
"I'm sorry.. Anastacius.. but I fell for Claude first.."
