Gala night 1

        I woke up the next day alone, I remembered all that happened the night before. A warm smile appeared on my face as I thought about it, He was so gentle it made my insides warm
I looked around hoping to find him but he wasn't there, I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as I sat up still looking around if i could see him but he seemed to have gone, I wouldn't lie my heart broke a little
And I couldn't help but think

Does he regret it?
Did i do something wrong?

I stood up from the bed even though i felt so sore, I slowly walked and went into the bathroom, I had my bath and decided to wear a blue jean and green sweater, I packed my hair into a messy bun and finished up with my dressing. I went downstairs with the hope of seeing jace but on getting downstairs it was as though he disappeared, I couldn't see him nor Noona

"Andrew please where is jace? " i asked the butler who seemed to do a very good job in minding his business
"He left very early this morning Kim" He replied me, I'm not going to lie because I felt extremely hurt, We had sex just some hours ago and now he's vanished
What a joke! It was as clear as daylight that he regretted what happened between us but come on, He couldn't even see me
Was it that bad?

The week went by and not even once did I see Jace, It was either I was asleep when he came back home or he didn't even come back at all, I was basically living with Andrew instead. My graduation had come and gone yet He was absent. I didn't have the opportunity to tell him about it, I couldn't! It was as though he detested seeing me or something but all I knew was that Jace was avoiding me.
Today i am going to make sure i see jace I thought to myself
I stayed up late in my room carefully listening to any sound or noise i might hear, It was past 12 but he still wasn't at home
Maybe it isn't because of and and he just has a whole lot of work to do.. My subconscious says

I was beginning to feel sleepy and I checked the time It was exactly 2am, I yawned and sat on my bed, Maybe he wasn't coming home tonight, Maybe just maybe.
But soon enough I heard some noise coming from downstairs and I knew he was back, I got off the bed and gently opened my door hoping it won't leave a sound, I walked downstairs slowly and I stood by the corridor and saw Jace in the kitchen, I walked towards him to drink water.

"Hi" i said to him and he looks up at me startled by me, I could see the surprise in his face but he was quick to hide it
"Hi" He replies back and made an attempt to leave but i held his arm, He sighed outwardly and looked at me
"Jace why have you been avoiding me? " I asked and dropped my hand on his arm, He turns to face me fully
He takes a step forward and holds me by my shoulders
"I haven't been avoiding you Kim, I've just been caught up with work and that's all." He says dismissively and i laughed harshly in his face

"Jace we both know thats not the thing, you've been avoiding me ever since we slept together
What's the problem exactly?" I say and he winced on hearing me declare that we slept together
I took a step back in shock, I knew he regretted it but somewhere deep inside me, I hoped he didn't

He sighs and looks at me in the eye "Kimberly I don't know where you got that from but i told you exactly what happened, I've been busy and thats it."
He lets me go and went back upstairs, I watched as he walked up the stairs while my eyes burned with unshed tears, I swallowed the lump i had in my throat and i went to my room.

The next morning I heard a knock at my door and opened it, Events of the last night came rushing back to me as soon as i saw him

"Good morning Kim " He says curtly "Good morning Jace" I replied him

"We are going to a gala this night, I'll have my designer send clothe and shoes to you and also a stylist will be here to help you. I will pick you up by 7-30, Is that fine by you?" He says and I nod , Not willing to talk to him but I guess I couldn't just shut up and let him go

"Okay jace,I'll see you this evening then bye." I said and closed the door not waiting for his reply

I walked into the bathroom to have my bath, wore my clothes and decided to read a novel.
Time went by quickly and the designer came by to drop my clothe, but what I wasn't expecting was a Travelling bag full of clothes. I laid all the dresses and decided on one. The stylist had come and was busy with my make up she let my hair down.
I wore my dress and was satisfied with my look, It was a black dress with split that reached my thigh and a few loose straps, It was simple yet gorgeous.

I walked down the stairs and saw Jace, he didn't spare me a glance, To say it didn't hurt was a lie, I still didn't understand how we went from 'You are mine' to I don't care, I sighed as we walked into the limousine that was waiting for us
The ride to the venue was quiet, we got to the venue and got out of the limo, he held my waist as we walked towards the entrance.
