I hear many people say how Connie probably suffered trauma as well from having to witness everything Steven had to deal with.
And while I do believe she has suffered, it needs to be stated that it was her choice to get mixed up in Steven's life. Not saying her trauma is her fault, but it could have been avoided had she not decided to start training.
However, it's because of this that people have used Connie's more stable mental state as a way of bashing Steven. People have said that Connie suffered too, but didn't act anywhere close to how Steven acted in SUF.
Well, to those people who say that:

There ya go. This is why Connie was more mentally stable: Her Mom was a doctor, she had a good support system and no doubt got the help she needed because of these things.
Steven did not have ANY of these things available to him, so why do people like to brag that Connie handled her trauma better than Steven did?
