I was thinking earlier today about this.
I think Steven's powers going crazy was actually Pink Steven trying to help him let the Gems and others know something was wrong.
And I think this is backed up by the picture Connie had on her phone. That was Pink Steven pretty much getting more desperate the worse things got. I doubt Steven would willingly send a mass text out about his issues.
But what do you guys think?
