Chapter 21

"JIMIN!!"

"YOU DON'T NEED TO YELL WTH"

"YOU ARE YELLING TOO"

"WELL THATS BECAUSE YOU'RE YELLING"

"OH okay."

"Seriously, wth was that, Kim Taehyung?"

Taehyung just giggled, and then proceeded with the biggest smile, "It's Jungkook's birthday next week! I'm so excited! I really want to throw him a surprise party!"

Jimin raised his eyebrows,"And you want me to help?"

"YEA"

"No."

Taehyung whined, "Why notttt?"

Jimin booped his nose and said, "Sweetheart, I want you to beg."

"How can you smile while you say that? Aren't we best friends?"

"Yeah but, I want you to beg me."

"Haribo's gummy bears?"

"What do you want me to do?" Jimin asked politely as he sat up straighter.

Taehyung smirked, "That's what I thought."

"Okay, everything's ready. Jimin's about to bring him in- 2 MINUTES?! EVERYONE TAKE YOUR PLACES RIGHT. NOW."

Taehyung had planned a perfect surprise birthday party for Jungkook. Not many people were invited. Namjoon, Yoongi, SeokJin, Hoseok, Areum (they were dating, but that's a story for another time so shh). He did not want to overcrowd Jungkook's Apart.

He had, with the help of the others, decorated it beautifully. SeokJin put up flowers around the place (he insisted they were as important as breathing), Hoseok and Areum had helped with the balloons, Namjoon helped with cleaning the place (oof yoongi and Jungkook were messy), while Taehyung tried to make a banner himself. It said

'HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOOKIE'

Oh. And Yoongi slept.

All of them hid in their respected places. Jungkook entered with Jimin, looking confused, but he wasn't dumb; he knew his hyungs and Taehyung were up to something *cough* birthday *cough*

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNGKOOOK"

All of them yelled and cheered, causing Jungkook's heart to flutter, as Taehyung rushed to hug him.

"IT WAS MY IDEA"

"Oh really? Thanks," Jungkook said as he pulled Taehyung for a kiss.

"No fair! I helped too!" Yoongi said as he frowned.

"Yeah, he helped a lot. And he woke up just before you arrived," Namjoon said with obvious sarcasm, causing them all to laugh.

Jungkook looked around, until his eyes fell on the banner Taehyung made. His smile immediately turned into a frown, as Eunji's words returned to his mind

Have you ever noticed that he degrades you in front of everyone?

Oh Jungkookie, if only you could see how much he likes to humiliate you..

"Why must you call me kookie?" He asked quietly.

But, unfortunately, no one heard him but Yoongi..who replied simply,"Cuz you're crazy duhhhh"

Jungkook felt anger rise inside him, but he ignored it.

"Kookie, we prepared chocolate cake! Your favourite! And I helped too!" Taehyung said, smiling proudly, as he ouffed up his chest and pointed at himself.

Anger.

Supressed..

When the cake was brought out, it said, 'Happy birthday kookie'

You're crazy

JungCrazy

Stupid

Dumb

These words were running around Jungkook's head, and before he realised it, he picked up the cake and threw it at the wall with as much force as he could, causing the plate to break.

Everyone stood shocked at Jungkook's sudden action. Jungkook was fuming, and he glared at Taehyung, who was confused and shocked as to why Jungkook had done that.

After a few moments of silence, Jungkook started yelling at Taehyung, "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME YOU HAVE NO FUCKING RIGHT! HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF I CALLED YOU SOMETHING BAD"

Taehyung's lips wobbled as he struggled to form words, the others standing silently on the side, all the happiness gone.

"J-Jungkook I-I-"

"No need to explain. Just get the fuck out of my apart! Party's over guys! LEAVE"

"J-Jungkook-" Taehyung started.

"I SAID LEAVE"

One by one everyone left, and right then realisation dawned on Jungkook.

What had he just done?

How could he do that to them? To Taehyung?

He cursed Eunji.

But he was worse, for doing that to him, and believing in Eunji.

As he looked around, he realised how much Taehyung adored him. The cake he had just smashed shamelessly lay splattered on the cornor.

Yoongi came up in front of him, "Is it because I called you crazy?"

Jungkook whipped his head towards him, breathing heavily.

"Is that it? Many years of friendship and I still have to be careful of what I have to call you? You know I don't mean it. No one does. Not Taehyung. Not me. Not anyone else."

Yoongi looked at the splattered cake,"He is a precious one Jungkook. One look and you can tell how much he treasures you. You made a pretty big mistake."

"...I know..."

"Go to your room. You'll know for sure then."

When Jungkook looked at him with confused eyes, he just said, "Just go."

As soon as he entered his room, he smelt a scent of strawberries, and right there, on the centre of the bed was a jar.

He went up to the jar, and read the label on it, "A HUNDRED REASONS WHY I LOVE YOU ik its cringe but you have to bear with me because there's another surprise and you're the one who's cheesy af"

Jungkook slightly smiled at that. A gift lay on its side with a letter. He picked up the letter a read it. It was more like a short note.

Hey Jungkook!
I bought you a book! Hope you like it. But don't worry. If you don't like it, give it to me ;) I won't waste the money :)

LOL JK I GOT YOU ANOTHER GIFT AND I HOPE YOU LIKE IT IF YOU DON'T LIKE THIS OR THE JAR DJDHHDUSHD
