salve
tremblin' n quakin'
frail wings beat against all odds
bear aloft a great heaviness
who would have guessed
this tender heart of hearts knew
of course truth we dare not accept
raise the drawbridge against raw pain
reassemble and go forward once again
carry the weight but only for a time
eat sleep rest n keep the light
safe and bright against this dark
foul wind seeking our spark
gainst extinguishmen
