"What the fuck was that," I yell and Luke flinches. "How do you know him? You said you've never been in Riverdale before."

"I haven't," Luke yells. "It's complicated."

"How do you know him," I ask, trying to calm myself down.

"If you don't know, I can't tell you. I'm assuming he doesn't want anyone to know what happened," Luke's voice was full of pain.

"Did you hurt him," I ask and he stares at me and then sits on the bed.

"I did far worse then that," he whispers.

"You know what? We can deal with this later. If Reggie Mantle comes home and finds him missing this will get far worse for everyone," I say and grab my bag off the floor. "Can you brew something to track him or am I on my own?"

"It's probably best if I don't come with. He's made it clear that he doesn't want to see me," he says and I sigh.

"Fine. Be useless then, but you better leave now too. I don't really want you to get killed," I say and he nods. "I'll text you when I find him. For now just go to a bar or something." He waves his hand and he's gone. I run out and hear heavy footsteps. I quickly run to the side of the house and hear the door open.

"Shit," I hiss, realizing that somebody must be looking for him. "Well maybe if I get him back soon, Reggie won't be as angry. I'll even take the fall if I have too."

...

"Braeden. Where are you," I yell into the abundance of trees. I tracked his smell this far, but since I'm not completely werewolf, I don't have phenomenal tracking abilities. "I need to get you home to try and avoid pissing off your boyfriend too much more."

"Who are you," I hear a masculine sounding voice ask.

"Veronica Lodge if you must know. Now if you'll leave me be, I'm trying to find my friend and get him home.

"He's not going back there," the voice says and then a figure jumps down in front of me.

"Who are you and why not," I ask and the boy snarls at me.

"Fangs Fogarty and I won't let him go back to that abusive place," he says and I groan.

"Seriously dude. You do realize who he's with. Reggie would never hurt him on purpose even if he's an asshole who's trying to alter his thoughts, but he will send his entire pack here to find him. I'm trying to save us all trouble," I reply and I can hear more people approaching in the distance. "I don't have time for this," I hiss and lunge at him.

Thanks to being a hybrid, I'm twice as strong as normal vampires, but not quite as quick. We exchange blows, him landing more, but mine are more powerful. I suddenly feel him bite down on my shoulder and cry out in pain. It takes a minute to pull him off. Once I do, I drive my heel into his stomach and he flies back. Blood drips down my arm and I try not to look. Despite the fact that I'm a vampire, I really don't like looking at blood. I'm honestly not sure why.

I tear off the bottom of my dress, which is already in tatters and do my best to wrap it around the cut before he gets up.

"Fangs," I hear someone yell and there's a boy holding him suddenly. He looks at me and I can see the blood lust in his eyes.

"I really don't wanna do this," I groan, but get prepared for another fight.

I look around quickly and see that I'm circled. "This is just fantastic," I yell in annoyance. The boy who was holding that Fangs guy slowly approaches me, showing off his fangs. I hiss at him and show mine too. "It's not like it's impressive that you have fangs dude. We are all vampires here," I yell and he stares at me for a moment.

"But your a w-."

"Yeah I know. Half vampire, half werewolf. It's complicated,"  I say and then another boy steps forward out of the circle. He has a beanie and, while this is just a guess, seems to be the one in charge of this whole group thing.

"Why did you attack him," he asks.

"I'm just trying to find my friend, but he won't let me get to him," I explain.

"She's a Lodge. She's just gonna take him to Hiram," Fangs yells. Everyone seems to gasp at the idea of me being a Lodge.

"I may be a Lodge, but that does not mean I support my father. For fucks sake I made sure he didn't try and fight Reggie when Braeden and Reggie first became mates," I yell. "I'm just trying to get him home to save him and you guys some trouble later."

"We won't let him go back to that place. He ran off from there and came here anyways," the boyfriend of Fangs says.

"He didn't run off because of Reggie. He ran off for a different reason that I don't even know," I explain and by the look in their eyes I realize they think it's my fault.

"Finish her off Serpents," the leader guy says. I look around for an escape, a small gap in their formation, but there's nothing.

"Well if I have to go out, at least I'm gonna go out fighting."
