Reggie

I sat on the couch with my head buried in my hands. I hadn't moved much since I'd gotten home. I didn't know what to do. I had never seen Braeden like that. I mean if I hadn't said something...

He wouldn't of. He couldn't kill someone, could he? He looked so angry. It was my fault. I should've done something to stop my father, but I couldn't. I've never been able to stand up to him.

But Braeden's an Omega. He should be behaving. Maybe not perfectly, but not like this. I don't want to discipline him, but maybe i need to. Just a little. Maybe lock him in a room alone for a little while or something. I can't hit him like I'm supposed to. After seeing what Hiram Lodge had done to him, and then when I hit him, I can't do that again. Even if it would work. Even if it would make him obey. I won't hit him. I can't. But I have to do something.

I kick the table over in anger. Why does he have to be so difficult? I love him. I do, but it's so exhausting. He constantly puts himself in danger and he doesn't seem to get how fucking terrifying it is.

I fix the table and force myself to breath. I don't like that he's not here. He has a way of calming me down. It doesn't always work, but he's the only one who's ever been able to do it. That's the only Omega like thing that he really does.

I could go get him. Run to the Southside and find him. Bring him home, but he wants to be alone right now. But I'm his Alpha. I should be the one making the choices.

"You seem troubled," I hear someone say and I jump back. There's a man standing at the door, but I don't remember anyone opening it.

"Who the fuck are you," I growl out and he chuckles softly.

"Now, you don't need to be so rude. Especially with someone who wants to help with your little Omega predicament," he says and I stare confused.

"What are you talking about," I ask.

"How he doesn't behave. How he's reckless. How he doesn't obey," he says, taking a step closer to me with every word. "I could make all your problems go away with ease. For a price," he says and is directly in front of me now.

"And what would that be," I ask and he grins wide.

"See, I have a little witch problem that I think you'd enjoy helping me out with. After all, it's with your lovers ex," he says and I stare.

"What do you want me to do with him," I ask, now really considering his offer.

"I want him dead," he whispers into my ear and I back up.

"I can't do that. Even if Braeden hates him, he would never forgive me," I say and he sighs softly.

"That would be a problem, but does he really need to know," the man asks. "After all, once I help make him behave like you desire, he wouldn't even have to remember Lucas."

"Why? What did he do," I question and he seems to pause for a moment.

"He is the only obstacle in my grand plan. He's very powerful that boy and since he refused to join my side, he needs to be dealt with," he growls and then turns to me. "Do we have a deal?"

I shake my head. "You haven't even explained what your doing for me. How are you going to make Braeden obey? Are you going to try and hurt him, because in that case, you can fuck off," I growl and he laughs.

"Please. I wouldn't hurt a hair on his head. Do you think I'm an idiot? This entire town would tear me to shreds. People seem rather protective of him," he says and begins to walk around me. "No. I won't hurt him. After all, with magic, I don't need to even touch him," he says and drops something into my hand. "I got that from your friend Kevin. He said that you plan to propose soon."

"What does that have to do with anything," I ask and hold the ring close to my chest.

"It's quite simple. As long as he says yes to your proposal and wears the ring, he'll be under your complete control," he says and walks away from me. "I've enchanted it. It will work for approximately twenty-four hours before the spell wears off. If you manage to kill Luke, I'll make it permanent," he says and sticks his hand out again. "Now. Do we have a deal?"

I bite my lip and look at the ring. Is this what I want? I think so, but what if I regret it later? "Don't worry. I can remove the spell if you ever so desire," he says and I stare at him and then smile and take his hand.

"It's a deal," I say and he grins a little too wide.

"Smart choice. Now all you have to do is wait," he says and quickly heads toward the door. "And about who I am, I'm Edgar. I do hope we can work together again sometime," he says and disappears with a flash of light.

So would you rather have this be a long book (probably like 50+ chapters in length) or have it split into two? I'm not sure what I want to do :P Also I know this was short. I'm pretty sure the next part/s will be rather long though soooooo yeah.
