Somewhere in the Jungle

Artemis's POV
We were walking around looking for anything that looked unusual. I heard Wally grunt and I turn around quickly to see my dad. It had to be him. I start shooting arrows at him, but he would knock them away. Jinx used her powers to electrocute him with her purple lighting. He falls to the ground before he could get up I shot him with a foam arrow that trapped him when it hardened. We ran over to Wally who was getting up after taking a hard him from him. I said in the mind link,
'Sportsmaster attacked us, we have him trapped so whoever flew in with him is the buyer.' We all ran to the helicopter we saw after we caught him, we look at the warehouse to see Lex Luther and Queen Bee chatting with Cobra. Wally informs everyone,
'We found out who it is, Lex Luther and Queen Bee.' Everyone made there way to the front of the warehouse and began fighting them.
Time skippp
We all made our way back to the cave, unfortunately Lex Luther and Queen Bee got away. We did succeed in stopping them from getting the venom though. We all walked in the cave most of us going to our rooms except for Baywatch of course going to the kitchen. I sit on the chair that's beside the counter. He had a big bruise on his cheek from where my dad punched him.
"He got you good huh?" I got up walking in front of him to get to the freezer. I pulled out and ice pack and placed in on his face,
"Nahh didn't hurt at all." He smiled. His emerald green eyes are amazing, I could honestly stare in them all day. I shake my head,
"Uh- just keep that on for a few hours, it should be good after that." I let go of it and put it in his hand, and started to walk away. Wally grabbed my wrist,
"Thanks Arty." He pulls me into a hug. I hesitate at first but held him tightly. He pulls back a little and puts a strand of my hair behind my ear.
Wally's POV
I wanted to pull her in for a kiss so badly, but I want her to know I actually care. I don't want her just for stuff like that. She is so much more than that. Also, I think Jinx thinks me and her are in a relationship soo if I kiss Arty she would be pissed off and probably try to kill her. Artemis let go of me and smiled walking away to her room. I frowned and walked into mine, I looked up to my bed to see Jinx.
"Heyy Wall-man!" She smiled getting up, and kissed me.
"Hey Jinxy" I faked smile. I need to tell her I don't want to be in a relationship, I scratched the back of my neck.
"Soo um I've been thinking, I kinda wanna be on my own for a bit." She looked at me confused.
"What do you mean, KF?"
"Well, can we take a break I just don't really want a relationship. Right now." I'm gonna get killed aren't I? She laughed.
"Your breaking up with me?! Wow KF that's hilarious." I held her hands.
"I'm sorry Jinx, your still my best friend." I smiled. She let go of my hands,
"It's because of that blonde b*tch isn't it?! I'm so much better than she is! You made a huge mistake Wally West." She narrowed her eyes and walked out of my room. Well that went well.
