where all the tension
shivers and trembles and crescendos,
for a split second
the world
comes to a halt.
your fingers linger on my waist
your eyes lock on mine
and then flutter down to my
lips
and then back
again;
closer closer hold me closer
i want you closer;
have me for as long as you want—
you're all of my flowers in all of my gardens
all my sunlight and all my moonlight;
oh and
baby,
all my starlight comes from your eyes,
they sparkle when you smile;
i hope you know—
i could stare at you for hours;
honest,
my heart still skips a beat
when you walk in the room;
i swear
i've never
felt like this;
