Ruby and Tillie went out to go shopping for new dresses for the dance that was coming up in 2 more days
"So, who are you going to the dance with?" Tillie gave Ruby a look like she knew who is was
"Moody, he asked me to go with him." Ruby said instantly. "Look at this dress! Mo- I mean everyone will like it!"
Tillie looked over at a red dress "Does this look nice, I cant always wear green. Red is a nice color, I'm gonna get it."
"It looks nice.." she started to daydream about her and Moody dancing at the dance
The next day at school Ruby, Jane, and Tillie were talking about how excited they were for the dance tomorrow
"Hello Ruby! How is your day going?" Moody instantly came up to her
"Oh nothing Moody, she is just dreaming about you." Jane laughed along side Tillie
"Not. Funny." Ruby blushed
"No, it's okay. I have been thinking about what I should wear to the dance, any suggestions. You do have the best choices." He winked at Ruby
"Oh, you look good in anything!" She smiled at him "Wear what you want to wear." She saw Tom talking with Billy's friends. He looked at Ruby and winked, she looked away "Moody follow me please!" She grabbed his arm and went behind the school house "Tom keeps giving me looks, please tell him to stop." She pleaded Moody
"I will, just not right now okay?" He held her hand "You will be okay."
"Thank you Moody, you really are a gentleman, your not like most guys." Ruby started to blush and then held his hand *What a moment this is...* she thought
"Do you think we should... tell people? You know.. show people we are a 'thing'? I cant hold it any longer." Moody held Ruby's hand tightly
"Oh Moody, of course! Everyone already knows so let's not keep it secret!" Ruby couldn't control her self and lightly kissed Moodys cheek
"Woah!" He laughed "Dont start kissing me now, it will just make me love you more." Moody kept laughing
They both came out from behind and the girls were there, they heard the whole thing
"IT'S TRUE YOU ARE MARRIED!" Tillie said with excitement
"Do you think your pregnant?" Diana asked
Ruby stopped for a moment and thought *Wait am I..?* "Moody am I-" she was cut off by Moody
"I know what your going to say, your not pregnant!" Moody laughed
"Someone needs to tell me! I swear." Ruby said
Once school was over moody offered to walk Ruby home again { HE IS SUCH A SIMP } "I'm happy we told people were a 'thing'-" he was cut off by Ruby
"Were getting courted right?" She held his hand
"Well uh-" Moody thought for a moment they were only 16, but they were allowed to marry at this age "In the future we will-" he stopped and blushed *Did I say that?* he thought
Ruby had exitment in her body *Oh. My. God we are getting married, never knew someone would love me, Anne deserves Gilbert, I wasted my time daydreaming about Gilbert, but now she had Moody, her future Husband.*
