♡ Chapter 5 《 the dance 》♡

It was almost 8 PM and the dance was just starting

"When will Moody get here? Charlie do you know?" Ruby asked Charlie

"He said he would- wait never mind, he told me not to tell you.." he was about to tell Ruby what Moody had for her

Moody came into the dance with something behind his back "Ruby!"

"Moody! You came, I thought you would never!" She hugged him and took his arm instantly "Wanna get food?" She asked

"Okay, just wait I wanna show you something.." he pulled out 12 pink flowers with a note

"Oh Moody-" she was speechless and took the note and flowers

"I know pink is your favorite color, so I found the best ones I could find.." he turned red as his friends watched and then he saw Ruby's friends watching and giggling

The note: *Dear Ruby, I got these flowers just for you. I hope you like them, you dont have to get me anything. I really love you. -Moody*

No boy has ever told Ruby they loved her, this was true love "Moody- I'm so lucky to have you!" She kissed his cheek "Let's go get food now!"

Moody blushed and saw his friends cheering him on and Ruby's friends jumping with excitement

As Ruby poured Moody and her a drink music started to play "Moody they are playing music! Wanna dance?" She put the drinks down and grabbed his arm

"Sure!" He blushed

They started to dance together and Ruby saw Tom watching them dance and she looked away and whispered in Moodys ear "Tom is looking at us.." she hid her face in Moodys chest

"Why does he always stare at us?" He whispered to Ruby

"He is probably jealous.." she whispered back

Once the song was over Moody was gonna chat with Tom outside

Once Moody got Tom outside they talked

"Why do you always look at me and Ruby?" He crossed his arms

"Well, I like her. She doesn't deserve a rat like you, she needs a real man." Tom looked at Moody with a cold stare

"Me and Ruby are already dating okay! Just leave us alone!" He responded

"Shut up you little piece of shit!" He pushed Moody

"Don't push me, you have no right to do that!" Moody pushed back

They boys started fighting and Ruby, Tillie and Diana came outside and saw

"What are you doing!" Ruby separated the two

"Why the hell do you love him, you don't deserve his ugly ass!" Tom grabbed Ruby's arm

"Dont touch me!" She released herself and started to cry in Moodys chest

"Let's go inside.." Moody held Ruby and gave Tom the coldest stare

"Ruby what happened!?" Josie instantly saw Ruby crying

"That Tom guy grabbed her arm.." Moody kept holding Ruby

Josie had a memory of her and Billy when they were outside and Billy touched her "I know how you feel Ruby.. you have a loving boyfriend.. he cares so much about you, we will get him back." Josie hugged Ruby

"Thank you Josie, your never this nice.." Ruby used Moodys hankercheif to wipe her eyes

Tom walked inside and saw them all together

*that bastard will pay... he hurt my girl..* Moody thought
