Chapter2# "Plot Twist"

Harman was one of the senoir members of the police task force whose mission was to completely destroy the narcotics trafficking business in India his work was to act on the informations attained by the undercover field agents and catch the criminals red handed and get enough proof to arrest Rustam bhai and finish off his gang once and for all...

And today was a very important day as today he was about to get information from a very reliable source in order to arrest one of their members red handed.

Sidhart :"Mein humari nai Consignment jo kal border cross karne wali ha uski location aor details dekhne ja raha hn pehche kuch bhi ho to sambhal lena" he said to patel...

"bus apne sath security le ja aj kal wese hi police humare peeche pari ha ...akele jane mein khatra ha..." Patel warned him.

"Sher humesha akele shikar krta ha ...abhi Sidhart itna kamzoor nahi hua ha ke use apni hafazat ke liye in pilon ki zarurat pare" he replied and left alone...

Iftekhar who seemed pretty impressed said to Patel:'Sala ye Police se bhi nahi darta"

Patel:"iski yahi daring Rustam bhai ko pasand ha...aek baar Rustam bhai ke liye seene pe goli khaya tha tabse isko apna bacha mante hn...apni field mein jisko jan ki parwa jitni kam ho...admi utna jaldi bara banta ha" patel who was a senior gang member told ifterkhar the fact.

As he was heading towards the location he saw a car following him...the car was civil and the driver was not clearly visible but the way the person was driving...he instantly understood it was police...as soon as he realised it he changed his direction to a secluded area..

Harman was following Sidhart's car when he saw him turning to a secluded place he opened the local map and searched for an alternative route a short cut.

Sidhart looked through the backview mirror and there was no car he thought he lost him...

But as he shifted his gaze from the mirror back to the road ahead of him he realised his mistake that police car was right infornt of him blocking his car he had to press the brakes he pulled out his gun and came out of the car...
Harman also came out they both were facing eachother....

And then as soon as they both came out of their cars and stood infront of eachother a smile crept on Sidharts face and he pulled harman into a brotherly embrace.....

Harman:"Kesa ha bhai"
Sidhart:"fine bro how are you"
Harman:"On cloud nine" he winked...."Rustam ke right hand ko chase ker liya mein ne ...now I am very happy"
And they both laughed

Sidhart:"Sale I led you here ...if I wouldn't have wanted tujhe meri dhul bhi na milti"

Harman lifted up his both hands:"Drug dealer Sidhart ka to pta nahi but IPS officer Sidhart Shukla ko pakerna mushkil hi nahi na mumkin ha...ab chale ga ? department briefing ka time ho raha ha"

When he entered the Narcotics Control bureau...every police officer stood up and saluted him...he just shook his head in response...he was wearing white dress shirt and grey pants and was looking very smart...a small stuble on his face that he kept as a part of his cover made him look more attractive....he went to the conference room and sat on a chair ...
The director General of NCB started his speech

Good Morning young men...as you all know that we formed this special task force to fight and control the growing drug trafficking business in Punjab...we have officers working in frontline whose work is commendable but the ones who are working in the field as under cover agents and providing us the information of the imminent drug deals are our real heros aor in mein se aek hn IPS officer Sidhart Shukla jinhon ne apni jan ki parwa kiye bagher India ke sab se bare Drug Trafficking gang ko penetrate kiya aor hume inko pakerne mein main role play kiya...

I want you all to clap for him...every officer there clapped for him...he faintly smiled in response.

"Now I would like to invite him to share his intell wd us"
Sidhart stood up from his chair and came to the rostrum

"Good morning Gentle men...as you all know Rustam bhai and his gang are one of the biggest drug dealing gangs in India...inke bande her jaga hn..he was also showing pictures on power point...police mein...politics mein...sarkar mein...that's what makes them very powerful and the only way to catch them is to catch them Red handed.

A police officer raised his hand ...sid gave him the permission to speak
P:"sir lekin ye choti moti drug raid se hum Rustam bhai tak kese pohonchen ge?"
Sidhart:"Good question humara plan simple ha hum Rustam Bhai ko itna nuksaan pohonchayen ge ke wo pressure mein aa ker koi ghalti kare..and the moment we get some proff against him we will be able to arrest him aor phir us se uske sare kale dhandon ki information ln ge..."

"It took me 6 months to infiltrate Rustam's gang ...it was not an easy job ...and took sacrifices and lifes of a lot of officers...but for the sake of the country's future we all are willing to sacrifice everything....ab kal PakIndia border se aek bht bara Consignment aa raha ha its 150 kilo heroin and hashish worth around 500 cores in International Market but I want you to let it go unchecked"

Everyone was surprised listening to this
But he calmly continued
"Kunke is deal ko mein supervise ker raha hn so I don't want to break Rustam's trust...let this truck go to Mumbai unharmed...but I am giving you the list of all the dealers in Mumbai...Harman you will go to Mumbai and make sure you seize all 150 kilos of narcotics from those dealers...I know its easy to seize the truck here in Punjab but I still want to work undercover for a bit longer take hume info milti rahe...if this truck gets caught here in punjab to Rustam ko mere pe shaq ho jaye ga and my cover will get compromised...pehle bhi uske right hand Deepak ko mujhe pe shaq ho gaya tha so I had to finish him off."

Harman:"Really bht acha kiya Deepak was directly involved in the murder of atleast 56 innocent people including 2 police officers..."

"I know" his voice was filled with anger there was not an ounce of regret in his heart for what he did to that bastard who had taken so many innocent lives he would have happily done it again if given the chance.He had a fire in his eyes a determination a few year back he had entered narcotics department with the mission to exterminate all the illegal drug trafficking and stop the dealing and use of illict drugs from all the nooks and corners of his country and that was his mission ; his dream that wouldn't let him sleep or take any break he was not some some ordinary police officer performing just his duty ; he had a purpose and that's what made him different from all others now he just had to kindle the same fire that was burning in his chest in the heart of all those sitting infront of him only then will he be able to complete his mission with this thought in mind he resumed his adress:"Gentleman I know it is a difficult mission but remember 65 percent of the youth between the age of 15 and 25 years has drug addiction in Punjab which is alarming...and just remember in mein se koi aek bacha apka bhai apka beta ya apka relative bhi ho sakta ha (he felt a lot of pain saying this last sentence he almost winced ) to bus hume is lanat se apne county ki youth ko nikalne ke liye her mushkil ko face krne ki shamta rakhni hogi...are you with me...

Everyone sitting there shouted unanimously :"yes sir"

"Jay hind" he shouted and left the Rostrum.

He was coming out of the department wd Harman:" chal bhai aj mere gher chal jab se tu punjab aya ha u haven't been to my home" he invited him.

"I don't think its a good idea someone might be following us" he always had to be extra cautious plus whatever he said back at the precinct opened some old wounds right now he was not in the right frame of mind to meet Harman's family so he tried to stall him but Harman insisted and after a while he found it pointless to resist further ...
"Kuch nahi hoga tu ne khud to kaha tha jab tak tu na chahe tujhe koi follow nahi ker sakta" harman could be very persuasive sometimes ...
Hesitantly Sid agreed to go with him.
