Well, today hopefully won't be so bad. It was the 4th day of the internship, and frankly it was going to more eventful than I'd ever imagined. We were going out to fight villains, and not just any villains - the Hero Killer himself, Stain. The one who'd permanently crippled that hero the other day.

It seemed fairly urgent, until Izuku sent a location to everyone with no context, and then it was downright critical. We accompanied Endeavor to Hosu City, where it was happening, but we were all separated from each other when a Nomu destroyed a building, and Endeavor went after the Nomus.

Chaos reigned everywhere as I darted through streets, towards where the location was sent. 'I have no idea where Shoto is, but I hope he has the same idea!' I sprinted through alleys, until I rounded the corner of one, to see Izuku, and Iida on the ground. 'Iida... don't tell me... THE NEWS! INGENIUM IS IIDA'S BROTHER OH MY GOD I'M STUPID!' I vaguely recall seeing some kind of news related to the crippling of Ingenium, but I was too out of it to correlate the two.

"Izuku! What's going on?" He looked at me as if to say something, but at that moment Shoto appeared, his fire blazing. "You should have explained how urgent this was, it took a bit to figure out the message." He chided, but turned away and sent a wave of ice towards Stain, to repel him, whilst I leapt over to Iida's limp figure. "What happened to him?" I called out, readying a new move of mine - Water Ribbon.

A strong, pressurised thin snake of water, that I could entwine around anybody for offense or defence. I can freeze it to lock it in place, or heat it up tremendously to burn anyone I desire. And it's all to do with rearranging the water molecules.

Shoto continued pushing the Hero Killer backwards, sending wards of ice and fire at him. Izuku briefly explained what had happened. "It's his quirk, if he ingests your blood, then he can paralyse you! Don't get too close." I gasped as a knife was hurtled towards Shoto, who narrowly dodged it. Now there was a small but open and bleeding cut on his cheek. Great. I'd offer to help stop the bleeding, but then I'd have to explain, and there's no time.

It got even worse when Stain charged towards him, throwing his Katana as a decoy, throwing him off and nearly resulting in Stain licking his blood. My nose crinkled in disgust. 'Now that is gross.' He sent a wave of fire towards him, and the villain commended him for being strong.

Iida called out for Shoto to stop because he inherited Ingenium's name, and only he should stop the hero killer, but the latter replied that Ingenium wouldn't have wanted vengeance. He created a giant wall of ice, but Stain slashed straight through it and told Shoto that it's foolish to block his own view. Then Stain stabbed Shoto's left side with two throwing knives and maneuvered above him. Just as he was about to stab Shoto from above, Izuku unexpectedly grabbed him and tackled him to the side. "So, his quirk is relative to blood type then, huh?" I voiced aloud. "Correct." The villain retorted.

"Izuku, help me here! Shoto, you've lost blood, get behind us." I ordered, deciding to not be a wallflower any longer. Izuku joined me and Shoto reluctantly darted behind us, to protect Iida and the pro hero I hadn't seen before. I began creating small, scalding orbs, that I sent towards him, and Izuku darted forwards too. I yelled as I saw Izuku was about to be stabbed, and I sent my Water Ribbon towards him, taking him out of harms way and placing me in it. There was now a thick cut now on my left thigh. Yikes. We righted ourselves but to my horror I saw blood on the blade. 'No! I won't go down here, not yet!'

The villain raised the blade to his mouth, but I shot my hand out just in time and began manipulating the blood towards me. "Oh hell no, pussy boy!" I yelled, using all of my concentration on sending that blood where he couldn't reach it. Perhaps I should explain. I can control water, yes, but also substances that are over 90% water. This includes blood (and certain bottles of milk but let's focus on the blood). I can't really control it well, think of it attaching a rope to a boulder and using the rope to drag the boulder around.

The blood shot through the air towards me, and I splattered it on the ground behind me, out of reach of the gross tongue. "Y/n, what the hell was that?" "No time to explain, watch out!" I was too late with my warning, as The Hero Killer managed to sneak a little bit of Izuku's blood. He crumpled forward, and I dodged forward to catch him. "I got you, hold on."

"I implore, please stop!" Iida called out again. "No, stand up and look properly at who you want to be." That was a bold line, even for Shoto. "Come on Iida, don't tell us to stop, join us and help, like you want to." I grinned, seeing his hand start twitching and moving.

Shoto continued forcing the killer back, but he was not keeping up form quite so well. just as he was about to be sliced an' diced with the katana, Iida's engines burst into life and he swooped in, saving the peppermint. "Woo, that's it Iida!" "I am terribly sorry for getting the three of you involved." "As if that will reform you into a true hero." "Don't listen to him, Iida."

"No, he's right. I'm not a true hero. But I mustn't give up, or else the name of Ingenium will die." Damn, that's noble. Stain attacked again, but Shoto sent him back using his flames. The pro hero, that I realised was Native, urged Shoto to flee, but he refused, claiming that Stain wouldn't grant him an opening. I think we all noted how the Hero Killer became increasingly more bloodthirsty as time went on.

Iida intercepted one of Stain's throwing knives, then asked his classmate to freeze his radiators. Stain pinned down Iida using another knife and I helped when Izuku regained his mobility. Shoto did as Iida asked, allowing him to unveil his new special move: Recipro Extend. Tenya, Izuku and I then rushed Stain by using our Quirks to scale the alleyway and strike the Hero Killer simultaneously.

With our combined force, we could knock him down, and then I realised just how exhausted I was. I stumbled to the ground, landing on the ice Shoto had created for us, and reeled back, landing on my leg in a painful way. The same leg I'd been cut on, as well. With a grunt I yanked myself up, watching as Iida yeeted him away, and Shoto blasted him with his fire. I gave a satisfied sigh as I saw the Hero Killer was finally defeated.

Shoto tied up the Hero Killer with some rope and Native took the heavily injured Izuku out into the street. I glanced down at my leg and felt a wave of nausea and fatigue wash over me. That combined with the blood loss and the throbbing stabbing sensation in my leg was almost enough to set me down for the count. I held a hand over my thigh wound and mustered my last strength to stop the bleeding, at least for now.

Iida began to apologize to us for getting us mixed up in the fight. Out of bloody nowhere, a Nomu of all things landed in front of us all and snared Izuku, letting out a blood curdling screech. Before it could do anything else, Hero Killer recovered and used his Quirk to stop it. He saved Izuku by grabbing him and stabbing the Nomu's brain. Not what I was expecting. Am I delirious from the blood loss?

Despite being heavily injured, Stain declared that the "fake" pro heroes and the pathetic criminals in society had to be purged to create a more just society. Everyone was taken aback by his actions and just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, Endeavor arrived. Wonderful.

Stain was enraged by Endeavor's arrival and challenged all the heroes to try and defeat him in battle. I didn't hear anything else he said as suddenly all I could hear was a high pitched ringing, and my vision blurred. I felt my bad leg buckle out and the rest of my body followed, as I lost consciousness. Not exactly the best thing to do in that situation, but I was too injured and fatigued to do much else. 'RIP me.' Was the last thought on my mind, as I slipped into the quiet world of being blacked out.
