ミ⚀⚁⚂⚃⚄⚅ GROVER YELLED FROMsomewhere above us. "Hey, guys! I think she's unconscious!" I didn't know if she was, because I couldn't see her, but if she was, she didn't stay it for long.
"Roooaaarrr!"
"Maybe not." Grover corrected. He went in for another pass with the tree branch. "Hurry." Annabeth told us. "Grover's got a great nose, but he'll eventually crash."
Percy took out his pen and uncapped it, making his broze sword appear. I only then noticed how close Percy and I stood. If someone walked by, they would mistake us for making out. So I quickly set a step back and summoned my bow. The all too familiar wood came in contact with my hand, and I grabbed it so tight my knuckles became white. A weight appeared on my shoulders, making the matching quiver filled with arrows land on my back.
"I'll cover you." I whispered to Percy giving him a reassuring smile before running away.
I followed the hissing and spitting sounds of Medusa's hair. Making sure to avoid looking directly towards the sound. If I could make it towards Medusa's back then I'll be able to fire my arrows without having to worry of turning into stone. My only hope is that Percy's charming enough to keep her attention on him.
