Olivia's pov

Morning rolled around pretty fast. Instead of preparing Ellie to come to work with me, I let her stay in her pajamas while I got ready. It spared me more time as well so I thought that I'd make a bigger breakfast so the guys could have something to eat when they got here. I made bacon, eggs, and waffles. Ellie started eating when I heard the door open and Soda poked his head in.

"Hello?"

"Come in Soda," but it wasn't just Soda. Ponyboy and Two-bit trailed behind him along with Steve.

"Pony!" Ellie squealed, jumping down from her chair and into her arms.

"I made some extra breakfast in case you guys were hungry," I said. I told them a few things more about Ellie before we left.

"Okay baby, I'm gonna go to work now. I'll see you when I get home." She gave me and Soda a hug and a kiss on the cheek before we walked out to the truck. I sat upfront with Soda and Steve didn't seem to like that too much. He got in the back then crossed his arms like a child.

"Steve you might wanna get used to this buddy. I could be picking her up every day for all we know." Soda laughed, pulling out into the street.

"As long as you don't steal my best friend from me, then it's fine." He dramatically looked out the window, making me laugh. I turned to Soda to tell him something, not caring that Steve was in the back seat.

"Soda, Eleanor asked me something last night and I didn't know how to answer it." He didn't have to look at me to know that he was listening.

"She asked me if you were going to be her new daddy." I was a little unsure about telling him, but he has the right to know.

"Well, what did you tell her?" He asked.

"I told her that if she wanted you to be, then you could." I nervously looked at him only to see the biggest grin on his face.

"Well if she wants me to be her new daddy, then I can certainly be her new daddy," he said, pulling into The Dingo parking lot. I felt my eyes beginning to water after he said that.

"Awe, come here Olivia." He pulled me into a warm hug.

"Thank you, Soda," I whispered before giving him a kiss goodbye.

"EWW! PDA, PDA!" Steve yelled as Soda blushed.

"See you in a few," I said, shutting the door and walking into The Dingo to begin my shift.

Soda's pov

I felt Steve's eyes on me after Olivia got out of the car.

"What are you looking at Steve," I questioned as I drove to the DX.

"You really like her don't ya Pepsi?" He asked.

"Yeah, she's great. She's not like all the other girls that come by the DX, she's different." I proceeded to go on and on about how much I like Olivia. I can't tell if Steve got bored or not but I didn't care. I'm with a girl, a really special girl, and I'm happy. I couldn't stop thinking about what Eleanor said. She really wants me to be her dad? I love Ellie and I certainly wouldn't mind, but what would the guys think?
