~Juliet~

Young and in love

With the soul and spirit of a clean dove.

He was older

But she was the only child and bolder.

Logic told her no

And her reckless heart whispered "go"

So she loved him

Even though their chances were so slim.

The world laughed

At these two hopeless children in the shaft.

But their light grew

Brighter and brighter, into something new.

It was so fresh

The freedom granted by their flesh

That many learned

Of these star crossed lovers who yearned.

The loyalty of two

Was not enough to stop the trouble beginning to brew

Which is stronger,

Love or hate? The fighter or the longer?

So young was she

And although her love was mirrored by he

There is no happiness yet

For the boy and his lovely rose, Juliet.
