I am beautiful, strong, and wise

But you judge me with your own eyes

I am the comforter to those desperate cries,

The yells of the ones you have hurt with your lies

I am completely uniquely me

But you try to tell me who I can and can't be

I am the breaker of the chains and ropes to be free

The free that you try to constrict with everything I see.

I am a person with my un-dimming light,

But you try to tell me I am not shining bright.

I am the never one to back down from a fight.

The battle that rages all day and night.

I am above your petty ways

But you are still present all of my days

I am the one who always prays

The prayer that will lead us all through this maze.

I am a shimmering star

But you shoot me down from afar.

I am the one you always mar,

The cut that will decide thus war.
