people always ask me
how is it easier to hate than to love?
my thoughts shift to you
and i think that
to love can mean to forgive
and it's harder to forgive
especially when you're still angry,
broken,
torn,
but forgiving means mending
bringing all those broken pieces together.
and that,
that takes time.
time i feel i finally have had.
