"So what are we going to do now?" You asked sitting beside Lucifer on the couch while the little girl was eating a bunch of food Lucifer ordered from room service on the floor
"If you mean with her then we have to find someone who wants to take care of her" Lucifer answered
"Well I know that but how?" You asked
"Well...we could go to the police station and get them to print out papers with a picture of her saying that if anyone wants to adopt her then they can call us" Lucifer suggested
"We could also go to another orphanage that is actually opened and not abandoned and ask them to look around for us" he added
"Wow you come up with better Ideas then me" you spoke up
"And what ideas did you have exactly?" Lucifer asked
"....standing outside asking people if they want her..." You said softly when Lucifer started laughing
"I mean...we could but it most likely won't do no good, for now we just need to take care of her needs" Lucifer said
"This is kinda weird.." You said softly looking down at your feet
"What do you mean? What is?" Lucifer asked
"Us...I mean you know...with her..it's like we're a couple who had a kid haha" you said nervously laughing as Lucifer fell silent and just looked back at the girl
"Sorry...Told you it's weird.." You apologized
"It's nothing weird honestly..just wasn't expecting you to say that" he answered
"How is it not weird?" You asked sitting up now looking at him
"I mean if you ever had a relationship long enough something like this would eventually happen" Lucifer said as you slowly nodded in thought
"Yeah, well it's not weird.. I'm just saying it's weird for us since we aren't a couple and yet we are taking care of a kid.. Just imagine us walking out in public with a little girl and asking them to adopt her, to them they would think we are trying to get rid of our own kid!" You exclaimed
"You wouldn't do that to your own kid, won't you?" He asked looking back at you
"W-what?! Why would you say that?! Of course I won't get rid of my very own kid!" You exclaimed
"That's good" Lucifer answered looking back down at the little girl in thought when you noticed him blushing a bit
"You okay? Are you having a fever?" You asked as you moved Lucifer's hair out of his face and pressed your hands across his forehead to check his temperature
"I'm not sick (y/n)" Lucifer said Laughing as he grabbed your hands as they slipped down around his neck making you both go silent

"Shh.." He said softly as you both moved closer to each other

"You should get that...most likely Simeon anyways.." Lucifer said softly before moving away from you
"H-huh?! Simeon isn't that important!" You exclaimed when you picked up your C.C.P and was about to swipe it down to ignore the call when Lucifer stopped you
"Just answer it" he said before pressing the answer button

"Oh..okay, any news?"
"Uh yeah actually.. We found the girl..but I thought you said it was a baby"
"Oh did I say baby? Haha I mean since she hasn't have any skills like reading and stuff like normal kids her age because of her being alone for awhile she is basically a baby"

"Day three in the mission and you already found her, that's good.. Now the hardest part of all.. Find her someone who would adopt her"

You sighed at the thought that Lucifer almost kissed you if it wasn't for that phone call to interupt

You gripped your hair and just walked back inside from the balcony when you stopped to see Lucifer on the floor with the little girl playing around with them both laughing
"Hey.." You said softly walking up to them when Lucifer looked up at you as you noticed his change in attitude
"So, Did you tell Simeon about us finding her?" Lucifer asked as he looked back at the little girl as she was still giggling
"Yeah" you answered dropping to the floor beside him
"And? Does she have a name or anything?" He asked
"I don't know.. I never asked" you answered
"Do you want to name her?" He asked
"We can?!" You exclaimed
"Haha sure" Lucifer said laughing
"Hmmm maybe.....Hailey?"
"Hailey?..hmm...hehe kinda reminds me of us demons, I like it" Lucifer said making you go silent
"What? I'm just joking, it's a good name, Hailey it is" he said as he started yawning
"Tired?" You asked when you rubbed his hair a little
"Mhm today has been eventful" He said tiredly
"Yeah.. What about Hailey? Is she gonna take turns sleeping with us?" You asked when he looked back at her
"I guess, It doesn't really matter" Lucifer said
"So who is she gonna sleep with first?" You asked
"Goodnight (y/n)" Lucifer said completely ignoring you as he got up and walked away to his side of the room
