"I'm sorry..it's not you.. I guess i'm just worrying too much.." You said softly putting your hands down as Lucifer just stayed there
"Lucifer?" You said looking up at him when you noticed he wasn't paying no attention to you due to the fact that someone was messaging him on his D.D.D
"Lucifer??" You said a bit louder still getting no response

"We...can't.." You whispered softly still looking away when Lucifer just kissed your neck
"That's perfectly fine" he answered still staying in the same position

"Hmm?" Lucifer hummed looking at you now confused
"You don't understand..." You said softly when you looked at him and started petting his hair as if he was a dog although he didn't mind
"We are..unique..but not the same..i-if we ever did try something.. What if we didn't want what comes next?" You asked making him go into thought
"It's why you think before you do something" he simply answered
"We don't belong together.. No matter how connected we are.. Angels and demons are finally coming together..but not like this.." You said softly when you gripped his hair without knowing but he didn't do anything
"You're right" he replied still laying there
"I know.. Based on what I've heard... We were a thing before.. But.. This is completely different.." You said aloud but still in thought
"All you did was go from a human to an angel..basically the same concept.." Lucifer said softly
"What if it makes things weird between us?" You asked looking at him when you let go of his hair and rubbed it back to being flat again
"I mean..heh...it's not like we never done it before.." Lucifer said starting to blush a bit
"Wait, you've done it with someone before?!" You asked aloud finally sitting up feeling a bit weirded out
"Haven't we both?" He asked
"No! I'm a virgin!" You exclaimed when he tilted his head like a confused dog
"No..?" He said confused
"What do you mean no?! You don't know my personal life!" You exclaimed blushing extremely hard
"I may not know your personal life but I do know that you aren't a virgin" he said
"And what makes you say that?" You asked

"I just think...maybe..we could try going our own ways?" You asked looking beside you at Lucifer as he just layed there beside you staring up at the ceiling also in thought
"Is that what you want?" He asked looking back at you making you two get even more close together
"I don't know what I want.. That's why i'm saying we could try going our own ways.." You said softly
"Okay, I'm fine with that" Lucifer replied tiredly
"Tired?" You asked
"Mmhmm" he hummed as he layed there beside you falling asleep

"If we are going to go our own ways.. Will we still be close friends?"
"Mmhmm"

"Are you going to treat me differently now if we go our own ways?"
"Of course not.." Lucifer said softly turning to face you
"Really?" You asked looking at him
"Positive" he replied wrapping his arms around you pulling you into a hug causing you two to fall asleep
