Hurriedly, she gathered all the pieces
Pieces of her shattered heart and soul
Swiftly, she put them in a basket
Making sure she counted twice them all

Gently, she then covered the basket
With cloth that didn't slip or tore easy
Delicately, she tied it at the corners
So nothing may slip out and make one queasy

Quietly, she then scurried to a corner
Holding the little basket of her soul
Silently, she sat down beneath a table
Pulling the little basket a bit more close

Quickly, the sun was rising outside
And she pulled her basket further back
Briskly, for if the sun would see inside
It'd show what was in it was wholly black

Vilely, everyone would look at it
That the shards looked as dark as night
Menacingly, they would laugh at her
reject and kick her precious to a side

Worriedly, she sat there under the table
Hiding precious pieces of her only self
Anxiously, she awaited the sun to pass
For night to come back and hide her whole

Marvellously, the night would hide the shards
And she wouldn't have to keep them hidden inside
Beautifully, they would shine among their likes
She'd see them swirl and twirl in the night

Patiently, she hid away from the sun,
Keeping her pieces safe from all's sight
Calmly, she waited for the day to pass
For the night was when she would let her A shine

A/n: I hope this makes sense. 3 am thoughts are a messy jumbled puzzle with many extra or lost pieces. *shrug*
