I smacked my phone off the bed as my alarm blared in my ears. Rolling over, I got comfortable again and fell back asleep.

"Audriana!" My mom knocked on the door before opening it. "Time to get up."

No.

"We have a plane to catch."

I don't wanna.

"You'll be home by yourself if you don't get up."

I groaned, sitting up in my bed. "I'm up, mom."

She continued to move around my room, tidying up things that didn't even need to be tidied up.

"Now get up and get dressed." She walked towards the door. "Breakfast will be done in 10, we're leaving in 30. Get up."

I simply nodded, yawning and wiping my eyes as I headed into my bathroom.

We had a super early flight to Texas to visit my dad for the fifth time this summer. The only thing different about this visit was that I was going to have to face my siblings...

It's been three months since my mom broke the news to me so I've had enough time to release my anger, pain, and confusion. I'm more happy than upset now, but my dad still hears my mouth about it because there are still so many unanswered questions.

This trip is planned to supposedly resolve everything, but I honestly don't know how it's gonna go. I haven't seen either of my siblings-except for Andre- since the incident so I have no idea how I'm going to react to seeing them.

I keep telling myself I'll be fine, though.

I've seen Andre a hand full of times so far this summer, only because his girlfriend is also my girl.

Our flights are usually only about 2 hours and 45 minute which is good. I hate being on planes for too long because I start to get paranoid, anxious, and claustrophobic. I still remember- as much as I would love to forget- the time my mom, dad and I went on a vacation to Panama.

Whew chile. Let's just say the last four hours of the plane ride were no fun for any of us.

I threw on something comfortable and then slid my feet into my pig slippers.

Childish, but I don't care.

I grabbed my bags before making sure I had everything and then headed downstairs.

"Good morning, sunshine." McKenzie greeted me once I entered the kitchen.

I took a seat next to my sister. "Good mornin', sista girl."

Mom set our plates of breakfast in front of us. We quickly ate, loaded our things in the car, and made our way to the airport. Due to Miami morning traffic, it took a little longer than expected but we still made it on time.
