I step into Jace's car and put my head on the dashboard.

"Hey, love," I kiss his cheek as he pulls out

"Hey, where do you want to go and why is Jay already ringing me?" He asks

I pick up his phone, "We can go wherever you want," I say answering the phone, "Hello?" I ask

"Turn your phone on," he says

"Jay, leave the girl alone!" Camil yells

"For once I agree with Camil," I say

"China, turn your phone on," he says

"I'm good," I answer

"Please," he says

I sigh and turn my phone on, "it's on," I tell him

"Also you left your food," he says

"I can starve," I say and Jace gives me a look. I twirl my tongue at him and he laughs.

"Is she in the car with a dude?" Camil asks

"Yes, I am," I tell him

"What time will you be home?" He asks

"Whenever I want o'clock," I tell him and Jace laughs

"China seriously," he says

"I don't know, Jace what time will I be home?" I ask him

"Around 9," he says

"Around 9," I repeat to Jay

"Call me at 7,"

"I'll call you as I enter the house," I tell him

"I'm fucking serious China, you just had a panic attack," he said

"I'm fine, this is why I didnt want to have a panic attack around you. Calm the fuck down, I'll be alright, I'll call you at fucking 7 so leave me alone," I hang up the phone and then Hannah calls him

"Hey babe," I answer

"Hey sexy, you're with Jace?" She asks

"Yep," I answer

"Can you hang at the adoption center, I'm not allowed out," she says

"What happened?" I ask

"I threw my shoe at the guy who wanted to adopt me," she says

"I'm not surprised. Yeah, we'll be at the adoption center soon," I tell her

"Kay, see you, love you," she says

"Love you too, see ya," I say before hangning up

"You just love picking up my phone?" He asks

Jay calls him and I look at him, "Nope, you can do it," I say

"You can't ignore him for caring," he picks up his phone

"Yes I can and I will," I say leaning back in my chair

"She refuses to talk to you," he glances at me, "Sure," he says and then puts it on speaker

I laugh before putting my headphones into my ears and blasting music and singing along to the first song that plays.

Jace sighs and puts his phone back to his ear and I take my headphones out.

"Yep," he nods, "The adoption center," he says, "She probably won't talk to you even when she's home," he glances at me, "she just doesnt like when people who care about her so she is distancing herself," he says, "kay, I'll tell her, bye," he puts his phone down, "He said he loves you and call him when your done," he tells me and I grunt in response
