Into the night sky as I gaze,
A bright star puts me in a daze
For some reason yet unknown to me
The star reminds me of simplicity
Darkness prevails as the night moves on
It means that in a while the day will dawn.
All of us have a role to play,
And nature has the final say.
The future is a coming thought
But your present is your current spot.
Take time, take pride in all you do
Let your powerful light come shining through.
Let others not be the judge of you,
Let who you are be seen through the deeds you do
