And I know will always be there by my side
With you there I don't have to care,
Because I know somehow you will always be there
We had our equal share
Of fun and fights
And our long conversations with toast at night
I wasn't your typical Daddy's girl,
But you must know I love you the most in the world!
My first speech, oh how I remember,
I thought it was a killer
And how you told me not to wither
And when I would cry
You would say it's alright,
And wait with me till my tears ran dry.
I know I don't express
And sometimes I'm a mess
And I know I'm not the best
But I want you to know that to me you're better than the rest
The way you joke
And don't let me lose hope
With life you help me cope
You are the best father
Like you there isn't another
I know you try to be
The best Papa you could be
And that itself makes you the best for me!
