To a wedding I had to go
Where the bride disappeared some while ago
Through her room's backdoorAnd boy did we assume
That she went to find a better perfume
But lying on her bed was her bridal costumeAt this the family was in fume
And just then we heard a kaboom.Out of a closed room
someone loomed
But his identity was in gloom! So with the sparks of a candle his face did illume
To revel he was the groom!
So to our search of the bride we did resume. But to no avail and by sadness we were consumed,
The whole family along with the groom! And we all were in gloom
Huddled together in a room
Then out of nowhere the bride did zoom
But in her hand was a broom. She stoped at the sight of us in the room
But instantly, her swaying she did resume
And with stubborn presume...
She shooed way the groom with the broom!
