Alekh and Naina were at the training field. Suddenly an orderly approached towards Naina.
Orderly- Mam, apke liye phone hai. KMA se.
Naina got little nervous hearing about KMA.
Naina- KMA se!!! kiska phone hai?
Orderly- Woh Captain Abhimanyu Rai Chauhan ka.
Naina- Achcha thik hai.
Naina was wondering if everything was alright in KMA. Abhimanyu simply could have called on her mobile, instead he called on the academy phonebooth. Naina's mind was filled with doubts, however she excused herself from the field and went towards the phonebooth.
Naina- Hello.
Abhi- Aap soch rahi hongi ki humne aapke mobile par call karne ke bajay yaha kiyu call kiya. Zara apne mobile check kijiye aur dekhiye, waha humare 3 missed calls hai.
Naina didn't need to check her mobile, she knew it was true. Too many people complain to her about the same thing. She keeps her phone on silent and later, forgets to put it on back to sound mode.
Naina- Aah,woh sorry sir. Actually main field mai thi toh phone silent pe rakha tha. Isiliye samajh nahi payi ki aapne call kiya hai. Lekin sab thik toh hai na?
Abhi- Sab toh tab thik hoga jab aap hume sir bulana bandh karengi. Naina, hum aapse kitni bar keh chuke hai ki hum e Abhimanyu ya Abhi bulaye.
She felt both shy and awkward hearing this. It's true that he had told her to call him by his name but somehow that didn't come naturally to Naina.
Naina- Yeah. Sorry woh mujhe yaad hi nahi rahta.
Abhi- Achcha iss bar ke liye jaane dete hai, age se aap hum e Abhi bulayengi. Toh bataiye kaisi hai aap?
Naina- Thik hu. Aap sab kaise hai?
Abhi- Hum bhi thik hai. Aur Alekh? Woh kaise hai?
Naina- Woh bhi thik hai. Maa ne bataya ki aap kal unse milne gaye the?
A little blush grew on Abhimanyu's cheeks as he recalled yesterday's incident.
Abhi- Ha, woh hum kisi kaam se Nainital gaye the toh socha kiyu na mil le unse.
Naina was grateful for this, she always was. She knew how much her parents missed their son, so Abhimanyu's checking on them felt like a really sweet gesture.
Naina- Thanks.
Abhi- Kiyu?Agar woh aapke maa baba hai toh humare bhi maa baba jaise hai na? Isliye apko thanks bolne ki koyi jarurat nahi hai.
Naina felt stupid for saying thank you to him. She knew that Abhimanyu really cared for her, her friends and family. He went out of his way to help them, stood there for them. A mere thank you is never enough.
Naina- Yeah, sorry sir, I mean Abhimanyu.
Abhi- Yeah, that's my girl.
Naina didn't know what else to say. She had to return to the training field also.
Naina- Ok, bye then.
Abhi- Yeah, bye aur aap dhyan rakhiye ga aapka.
Naina- Hmmm. You too.
Today for some reasons, Abhimanyu's way of talking felt a bit weird to Naina.
In last 6 months Abhi and Naina have spoken to each other for sure, but not at a huge level. Even if they have talked, it was always about the previous incidents and things related to it, not their personal things.

At the end of a tiring day, Naina finally returned to her room. Everyday she talks to the photographs in her room. There are only two photos in her room, one is a photograph of Naveen hung on the wall and the other one is on her bedside table which is a photo of Rajveer and her which was taken at the fresher's ball. Ritu was also in the photo but Naina cut her out of the photo and threw her away. No one can come between Rajveer and her, specially a devilish woman like Ritu Mishra.
Next morning, Naina went to the cafeteria to have breakfast. Alekh sat beside her and she didn't even flinch, he noticed that there was a change in her manner, she looked a little pale and worried.
Alekh- Kya? Kya soch rahi hai tu?Apun ko dekhaich nahi.
Naina suddenly looked at her right and saw Alekh's question face.
Naina- Kuch nahi. Tu chal, breakfast karlete hai field mai bhi pohoch na hai.
The whole day Naina was little absent minded.

Alekh tried again to find out what was the matter with her,
Alekh- Kya hua hai tereko?Apun subah se notice karela. Tu kuch bataich nahi rahi hai!
This time Naina didn't bother to make any excuse. Something was indeed troubling her.
Naina- Pata nahi yaar Alekh, mujhe bohat ajeeb lag raha hai. Lag raha hai ki kuch hone wala hai pata nahi kya par kuch toh hai.
Alekh was about to ask her more but just then an orderly appeared in front of them,
Oderly- Mam, Sir, brigedier sir ne aap dono ko unke cabin mai bulaya hai.
Brig- Officers, at ease. Maine aap dono ko ek khas kam ke liye bulaya hai. Ye lijiye envelope. Isse apko Kunchanjhanga millitary academy mai pouchana hai Brigedier Chandok ke pass. It's urgent so mera Khayal, aap dono abhi nikal jaye is kam ke liye.
Naina & Alekh- Sir.
They both stepped out of Brigadier's cabin as per order. The envelope in their hand was sealed, they had no idea what was inside of it and they couldn't possibly know. Naina got really anxious about going back to KMA.
Naina- Achanak KMA?
Alekh knew it's hard for her, hard for him too to be honest but not as much as Naina. He tried to calm her down.
Alekh- Koyi kam hoga unka BC se. Apunlog ka kya. Le jaane ko kaha hai le jate hai chal.
Naina knew that it's her duty, she can't let her emotions intervene in this.
Naina- Ha, tu thik keh raha hai. Chal.
They both started for KMA and within 2 hours, they reached KMA.
