Part - 14

Raj got down from the car. He was way too embarassed to come riding a horse. So Abhi, Gunny, Suriji didn't really force him on this matter.

Naina's mother performed all the swagat rituals at the door.

Meanwhile, Naina was all alone in the room as the other girls went down to attend the baarati. Naina was feeling so restless just like any other bride. She got up from her seat and went in front of the mirror. In the mirror she was seeing a new girl. A new Naina,who is about to get married. Suddenly her eyes got blurry. She was missing her vaiya so much.

Naina thought, this wasn't supposed to happen like this. She could have met Rajveer in a different way, fall in love with him and Naveen could still be  alive today. She remembered her all the struggles throughout the past few years. Now, finally she was standing at this point. All these just felt like a dream.

Down at the hall, all the people were gathered together. Panditji told Raj to take a seat at the mandap. Raj sat down at the mandap and continued to look at the stairs and doors. Understanding his situation Abhimanyu told Raj,

-Raj, thora toh sabar rakhiye, aap hi ki shaadi hai. Sabka focus aap hi ke upar hai. Woh ajayengi aap thora shaant baithiye toh sahi.

Rajveer got very embarrassed by this and he tried to cover up by saying,

Raj- Nahi toh, mai kaha kuch keh raha hu.

No matter how much Raj denied, he knew what he was craving for.

Abhimanyu and Gunny smiled at each other.

Rajveer was now performing some rituals with Panditji. At this time Sameera crawled like a cat and picked up Raj's shoes.

But suddenly someone held her hands from right behind. She looked in terror and found it was Gunny.

Gunny- Aap abhi cadet hai, bachche hai. Itna aasan nahi hai meri nazar se bachna.

Sameera- Oh come'on Sir, abhi bhi ye soldier soldier khelna jaruri hai kya?Abhi hum shaadi mai hai. Aur ye jute churana bhi ek rasm hota hai.

Gunny- Aap vul rahi hai cadet, sirf jute churana nahi, usse chori hone se bachana bhi rasm ka hissa hota hai.

Saying this, Gunny took Raj's shoes from her hands and smirked. Sameera made a grumphy face and signalled thumbs down to Pooja. Just then Hooda walked towards her.

Hooda- Oye kuriye, kabhi hum e bhi toh ishare kar diya kar.

Sameera - Hooda dekho, mera mood bohat kharab hai.

Hooda- Oye kiyu? Aise mauke pe koyi mood kharab karta hai kya!

Sameera - Mai kya karu, Gunny sir ne Rajveer sir ka juta churanei nahi diya.

Hooda- Oye inni si baat, mummy ji ki kasam, Hooda yu gaya aur yu juta le kar aya.

Sameera- Sach? Tum kar paoge?? Thank you so much Hooda.

Hooda- Oye kuriye, tune abtak Hooda ki personality dekhi e kaha hai.

There goes Hooda's as usual exaggeration 😄😄

Shalini met Yudi.

Shalini - Kaise ho tum lt.?

Yudi- I'm good mam. Aap kaisi hai?

Shalini - I'm also fine. Bohat dino ke baad mil rahe hai.

Then both awkwardly smiled.

Yudi - Aap bohat achchi lag rahi hai, mam.

Shalini blushed.

Shalini - Tum bhi bohat achche lag raheho Yudi.

All these sweet talks got interrupted when

Panditji said, - Kanya ko bulaiye.

Shalini, Sameera, Pooja, Ali rushed to the stair. Alekh prevented Neelu from going, as she was pregnant and went himself.

Raj was looking towards the stair. He had no idea of how Naina was looking.

In other people's cases, the bride and groom generally shop together, decide things together and make plans about their wedding. But in their case, they hardly got the time to do that. So Raj was double excited. Everything was unexpected and surprising for him.

Finally, Raj saw and his jaw dropped.

Alekh, Ali, Pooja and Sameera were carrying the fairy lights embedded  chunri over Naina's head and Shalini was holding Naina.

Abhimanyu, Gunny, Suriji, Subedar Lolita, Brigadier Chandok, other people from KMA and DMA looked with wonder in their eyes. They were looking at a complete new and different Naina that they'd never seen before.

Naina's eyes met Raj's who was looking very handsome. She then slowly sat beside him. Then Panditji started all the rituals. It was like a dream come true for these two when they were looking at each other's eyes and performing all the wedding rituals. They completed saath phere, sindoor daan and mangal sutra rituals.

Eventually, Panditji declared them HUSBAND & WIFE.
