After ten long hours and nine horrifying moments that Isabella thought she had died, they were finally in Germany.
Although Jeremias and his siblings were born in Berlin, his family lived in Hamburg, a beautiful place.
She couldn't wait to see more, but as of right now, she needed sleep since she couldn't on the plane.
It took them an hour to get to Jeremias's home, which she thought they were staying with his parents.
Isabella should have known better he didn't even want his parents staying in their home back in the states why would he remain in theirs.
It was like they had their own little community. The whole mafia stayed on their grounds, and his parents had the most prominent house sitting in the middle of it.
Jeremias's or his sibling's home wasn't that much smaller fuck his residence here was more significant than the one in California plus it was beautiful.
The inside was even more beautiful while she admired the place. He seemed to be upset by being there.
His scowl was more profound than usual as they walked further into the house while he disappeared with a sleeping Amelia on his shoulder.
Moments later, a woman appeared to her in the foyer, where he left her with a small smile displayed on her face.
"Mrs. Lang I can show you to yours and Mr. Lang's room if you like" She said
"I'd like that do you know where Mias went?" She said curiously
She smiled but never answered the question which made Isabella concern it was something about this place that he didn't like
It made her feel uneasy because it made Jeremias change; maybe this was his true self or the reason he came to the U.S.
"Okay, since you're not going to answer my question, what is your name?" Isabella said
"Same as yours almost except mine is Isabell, but Bell is fine" She said, smiling.
This time Isabella smile back and Isabell's smile grew bigger as she led them up the big beautiful staircase.
Meeting Jeremias at the top as he glared at Isabell as if she did something wrong or wasn't supposed to be there.
"Sir, I was showing her to the room" Isabell said
"I can see that, but I have it from here, Miss. Moore sees to your other job" Jeremias said flatly.
"Yes, sir...And Mrs. Lang it was nice meeting you I hope to see you more" Isabell said
"Same to you Bell" She said
Isabell quickly turned around running back down the stairs as Jeremias held out his hand for her to take
"What that about Jeremias you left me in the foyer without a word then it looked like you as about to bite off that poor woman's head I never seen you like this" She said
"It has nothing to do with you, Love, nor Miss. Moore... I'm sorry I guess I should have thought about it before leaving you in the foyer like you knew your way around this dreadful place, but I was laying Melia in her bed" He said
Isabella shook her head, but she knew there was more to it why call this place dreadful what was it that he didn't like
"You lived here with someone before, didn't you?" Isabella asked without thinking
Jeremias stopped without warning, making her run into the back of him well, making her stomach run into him.
As he turned around slowly glaring at her like she said something wrong or burned the shit out of him
