Dear readers,
For a long time, I've been thinking about rewriting Mask of Celibacy to make it more into a traditional teen fiction/romance novel interspersed with blog entries and phone calls.
That would make the pacing of the entire novel similar to the second half of the book. It also means there will be more words and few to no graphics.
Also, I'm aware that there are a few other errors that need to be fixed as well. Jess comes to her realization much too quickly in the original version. We also need more of a character arc with some of the other major characters too.
As such, I have a plan that entails rewriting Mask of Celibacy. It will probably take the novel from 50K to 75K words or so.
But don't worry! I'll leave up the original version available and post the new version after it. Once the rewrite is complete, I will still keep up the old version for those of you who have enjoyed it as well.
