"I just don't know what to do, Mar! He cheated on me!" I was currently in my best friend Mari's living room, bawling my eyes out.
Rubbing my back, Mari handed me a chocolate bar. "Martin's a jerk who threw away a good thing. You don't deserve him." I sniffed, the tears falling slower now.
"I guess. I just can't help feeling that I did something wrong, you know?"
"Yeah, I do. Do you want to crash here tonight?"
I sniffed again. "Sure, thanks Mari. I don't really want to be alone right now."
We spent the rest of the night watching cheesy romance movies and commenting on how bad they were. Mari really knew how to cheer me up.
