DINING ROOM , MALHOTRA MANSION

Malhotra and Murthys are having the breakfast together as mukti and abhimanyu decided to talk to them about their marriage. Everyone is sitting having their breakfast but manik was not their yet. Nandini was looking at the stairs time to time which was noticed by cabir so he decided to tease her.

Cabir- Nandini yeh tu baar baar stairs ki taraf kyun dekh rhi hai

Nandini*stuttering*- Kuch.....kuch..bhi..toh ..nhi.....vo meri neck mein pain ho rha tha so bas

Jhanvi - Cabir kyun bachi ko pareshan kar rha h subha subha

Soon manik came and sat beside nandini's left side. He held nandini's hand and entwined their fingers but nandini didn't react much  as it was common for her so she was sitting normally but something striked her mind and she looked at manik mischievously , while manik raised an eyebrow at her asking her what happened but she nodded in no. She placed her hand on manik's thigh and started moving her hand on his inner thigh, while manik choked on his food and started coughing.Nandini gave him water and patted his back

Nandini*concerned*- Manik look upwards .......you are fine right

Manik*after drinking water*- Ya i am fine.....thanks

They both were in their on world while the rest of family members were looking at them with shocking expressions except for cabir who was smirking at them.

Mukti*raising her eyebrow*- Yeh kya ho rha tha

Nandini*acting normal*- Kya ho rha tha

Abhimanyu- Yeh tu manik ke liye kab se care karne lag gai

Nandini- Bhai care nhi vo i am doctor na so i have to help him..............varna you know i hate this monster

Manik*tight liped smile*- As if i love you Shorty

Nandini*irritated*- Listen monster you are just overgrown okay......i am not a shorty

Manik- You know what.....you

Shreekant*cutting him off*- Chup hojao tum dono bacho ki tarah ladte ho.....behave like adults

Cabir*to himself*- In dono ko toh oscars ke liye nominate karna chahiye.........kya acting karte hai

Rest of the breakfast was silent and everybody moved toward the living room for discussing about the engagement.

LIVING ROOM , MALHOTRA MANSION

Everyone is sitting in the living room planning about the engagement. The engagement had to be grand as the two most influential families of mumbai are involved.

Neyonika- Meri pandit ji se baat ho gyi hai unhone kaha haii ki ek hafte baad bahut acha muhrat hai.

Shreekant- Mujhe tum logon ko kuch batana tha

Manik*confused*- kya hua ha dad

Shreekant- Emm......vo actually shivani aa rhi ha aur soha bhi

After shreekant's statement everybody's face had horror clearly visible. Shivani  Kapoor , is shreekant's cousin sister , she is very religious and conservative. Whenever she comes all the girls have to wear ethnic wears and what not. Soha is shivani's niece and she want manik to get married to her and she always clings to manik.
